"Hey, baby. How's it coming along in here?" Jisoo asked as she and Jennie stepped into the kitchen.

You stood at the stove, stirring something in a pot very carefully.

The scent in the air was absolutely delicious and the girls were beyond excited to eat, though there was a touch of hesitancy between them after the last meal that you made.

"Pretty good. It is actually done." You said and turned off the stove before grabbing a couple of plates.

Jennie and Jisoo sat down at the table, watching you with proud eyes.

This is the first meal that you're serving them after spending weeks trying different recipes and meals.

You've worked so hard to create an amazing meal after the disaster that was the one that they ate last time.

"I think it came out perfectly." You said as you carried the two plates to the table.

You set them down in front of your girls and watched their eyes lock.

It looked and smelled so good but they were worried.

It wasn't that they doubted you.

They know you can cook and they know you've been working so hard on perfecting different dishes for the three of you to enjoy.

But they didn't want to hurt your feelings again.

They were a little nervous to try it just on the offhand that it didn't turn out the way you'd hoped and it would hurt your feelings once more.

"Come on, try it! It turned out great."

They picked up their forks and put a bite into their mouths and instantly, a delicious flavor danced along their tongues.

It was better than great.

It was spectacular.

"Oh, my god," Jisoo said.

"That is so good!" Jennie said as she put another bite into her mouth.

"Really? Do you mean it? You're not just saying it?"

"No, baby, we mean it. It is delicious!" Jisoo said, making you grin proudly.

"This is the best meal I've had in a while. I hope there's plenty of it because I'm going to want more!" Jennie said as she ate more.

"Come on, darling. Join us." Jisoo said after eating another forkful.

You grabbed a plate before sitting down beside them.

You were pleasantly surprised and impressed with yourself because they were right - it was delicious.

"So good!" You said.

"You did amazing, baby. This is incredible." Jisoo said.

"We're so proud of you, y/n." Jennie smiled.

"Thank you." You said.

"It turned out amazing. Good job!" Jisoo said, squeezing your shoulder,

You ate together, proud of the meal that you'd worked hard on making for you and your girls.
