Zylander Howell's POV

"Kailan mo ba titigilan ang lalaking nakita mo sa bar, Kuya Zy?" Naiinis nang tanong ni Zhuri sa harap ko at binagsak ang isang folder sa aking mesa.

She crossed her legs and folded her arms in front of her chest. This twin sister of mine was really ill-tempered. Zhuri was so easy to annoy and provoke. She was not the same baby sister that we had before. The understanding and demure Zhuralla Rizzel have disappeared. Though she only showed her soft side when Papadad was around or when we were in our house.

I started to become obsessed with Maximilian Arthur Lacsamana the first time my eyes laid on him. He may not know me, but I know him deeply. The first time I saw him was when he attended a business conference with his father, Priam Lacsamana. I happened to attend the event as a substitute for my father, Tyson Maranzano. At hindi ko inakala na magiging ganito ako sa isang Maximilian Arthur Lacsamana.

Well, he is very handsome for a man. He is well-behaved, very courteous, and has a very captivating smile. Maximilian Arthur is quite petite, has fair skin, and a heart-shaped face. So, who wouldn't fall for that? Damn!

"He's Lacsamana, kuya Zy, Max—argh, whatever it is, but he comes from a powerful family. I happened to bump into his younger brother last night. He was outgoing and naughty. He even talked to me—no, he flirted with me, but I know he's a kid. And do you know that Max-something Lacsamana is going to an island? Isla Viste, to be exact."

Naging alerto ako nang marinig ko ang sinabi ng kapatid ko.

"Tomorrow?" I blurted, almost unable to believe what my sister told me. Alam na ni Zhuri kung ano-ano ang ginagawa ko for Maximilian Arthur, and honestly, she doesn't like it. I feel like she has some discreet bad blood with Maximilian Arthur.

"Uhuh!" Walang gana niyang untag.

Tiningnan niya ako na parang alam na niya kung ano ang tumatakbo sa isip ko. Well, we were conceived by our Papadad together.

"Thank you. That's a big help, Zhu," I smiled.

Nanliit ang mata ng kapatid ko.

"Don't tell me you really fell in love with this Lacsamana, Kuya Zy? Tsk! You become another person when it comes to this guy, huh."

I just gave her a smirk and leaned back in my swivel chair, tapping my pen on the table.

"Anyway, why are you here? You're supposed to be in the hospital."

My sister rolled her eyes.

"Because I need to pass those reports to you. They're from the underground society. It's the latest transaction," she pointed to the folders in front of me with her lips.

Maximilian Arthur's POV

"Tang ina! Pakawalan mo ako rito kung sino ka mang gago ka!" halos maputol na ang ugat sa leeg ko sa kakasigaw rito.

Nakatali kasi ang kamay ko rito sa kama. Ang mga paa ko rin ay nakatali. At ang isang lalaki na nasa paanan ng kama ay nakaupo lang at ang walang hiya ay parang wala lang sa kanya ang sigaw ko rito. Mapuputol na siguro ang litid ko rito kaso siya ay nanatiling kalmado lang at parang walang naririnig mula sa akin.

"Calm down, baby." aniya sa mababang tono, mistulang hinugot niya pa ang kanyang boses sa kaibuturan ng kanyang lalamunan. Dahil sa kanyang sinabi g mas lalo kong naramdaman ang pag-init ng mga pisngi ko. Namula sa galit, sa inis at irita! Ang kapal din talaga ng mukha ng lalaki na nasa harap ko ko ngayon. Kung sino mang animal na ito ay makakatikim talaga ito sa akin kapag ako'y nakawala rito sa aking mga tali.
