I didn't think twice about looking at the guy who sat beside me without asking for my permission first. Or baka ganito talaga rito? Basta may bakante umaakupa lang ang mga tao?

I threw him a deadly stare, and if only my eyes could throw sharp knives, he would now be bleeding on the floor. However, the guy seems unbothered by my bold stares. He just sits there with his drink in his hand and his eyes straight ahead.

I study his side profile. This is outrageous! How can a man be so handsome? His nose is pointed, he has angular jaws, well-formed eyebrows, and unexpressive, cold amethyst eyes.

Is it due to the lights coming from the dance? Or are his eyes really amethyst? So rare!

I tear my eyes away from his direction and take a huge gulp of my drink.

I want to slap myself for the bold action. I've never been this fascinated by a man's face until now. Tang ina!

Binalik ko ang aking mga mata sa lalaki. Naipilig ko ang aking ulo dahil parang pamilyar siya sa akin. Hindi ko lang alam kung kailan at saan ko nakita ang mukha— ang ganoong klaseng mata. Maybe sa mga dinner parties? Or business conferences? Familiar kasi.

"Hey!" Tawag ko rito nang hindi na ako makapagtiis pa.

Kaagad siyang lumingon sa akin.

I don't know if it's due to the alcohol slowly dominating my body, but I just feel my heart knocking on my ribcage like it wants to come out. What the hell was that?

"Mmm?" His voice is deep, throaty, and low, yet it still reaches my ears like a damn music.

"Have we met before? Do we know each other?" I asked curiously.

Okay, I'm not talkative. I'd rather sit in the corner alone than talk to someone, especially a stranger, but right now I cannot seem to control my mouth. It feels like the alcohol is talking and taking control of everything.

"I'm..." His eyes roamed my face aggressively. "not sure, because if we had met before, I would have already bedded you and claimed you."
