F̶a̶l̶l̶i̶n̶g̶ U̶n̶d̶e̶r̶
On my two feet
the sun was shining
clouds occasionally covered up the sun
moving out of the way
as if playing some sort of game.

As the world shifts
disappointment rests upon my face,
looking around the darkened woods
It's filled with trees and shrubs.

They were pushed apart
in the blink of an eye,
I followed the path
grinding leaves under each step
passing though the shrubs.

I emerged into the giant clearing
The night was eerie
peaceful and quiet
stars were shining like diamonds
or perhaps of gold.

Hearing the rusting of leaves
I turn back only to find myself
in the midst of a lake
It was memorizing
The way it swaye-

Colliding with the surface
the coldness enveloped me
water was quickly sousing my clothes
attacking my skin with it's temperature.

I'm unable to move
facing the rippling moon
And swishing stars,
I'm being drawn deeper.

The seaweed starts
Coiling around me
as the feeling of oxygen
is running away from me.

Trying to take it back
I only engulf more,
Such burning sensation
It goes through my head
pass my ears.

It slowly dulls my senses
a strange dizziness came over
I wanted to hurl
yet it washed away from me.

At the sediment packed bottom
too weak to even pump blood
the invitation of death didn't alarmed me,
seeing the array of blues
turn into blurry whites
I already knew my goodbyes.
