Katsuki walks into his hotel room, dragging his feet along as he goes. He knew he wouldn't get any sleep when he decided to drive from Musutafu to the town that he's been residing in for the past few months to see Izuku, but he couldn't stop himself. He didn't feel right leaving without a trace, and he'd seen where Izuku tried to contact him, but he couldn't risk using his phone to answer. He had to go see Izuku and let him know that he wasn't ignoring him or that he hadn't abandoned him. Even so, the visit didn't really make him feel any better. Izuku seemed to be pretty upset last night, but he wouldn't say anything about why . He figures it's best to just leave it be for the time being though. It's not like he can really do anything about it now that he's back here. He sighs as he falls into his bed and tries to rest his eyes for a few minutes only for Shoto and Eijiro to interrupt the peaceful moment.

"Hey, Bakubro!" Eijiro chimes as he walks into the room.

He growls and buries his face deeper into the sheets. Shoto sits down on the bed, causing it to dip under his weight. "You look awfully tired. Where'd you run off to last night?" he asks. He stiffens at the question. He could've sworn that no one would find out. Maybe he was stupid to believe that at least one of his friends wouldn't find out, though. Shoto hums softly, "You ran off to see Izuku, didn't you?" He nods. "You know part of the reason we're meeting with the commission this week is because of their concerns surrounding him, don't you?"

He feels his stomach tie in knots at the reminder. He hates the mere thought of it. He can't see what the hell the commission would be so worked up over that they would want to have an entire meeting with Izuku as the primary subject. What do they know? "Yeah, I know," he grunts.

Shoto sighs, "You know if they somehow found out about that it'll only add one more thing to the agenda. Whatever it is, they don't seem too pleased."

"They won't find out. There's no way," he mumbles, rolling over to face his friends.

"They have a way of finding things out, Bakugo. I wouldn't be so sure of myself that I would underestimate them," he reasons. "Even if I were you . You might get lucky this time, but based on what happens today, you need to be more careful. There's no telling where this could lead you or Izuku."

"Yeah, I know. I'll be more careful," Katsuki groans. His eyes cut across to the clock sitting on the nightstand next to his bed and he sighs. "Well, now that the five minutes of peace I had is over, can you two get out so I can get ready to go?"

Eijiro crosses his arms over his chest, "But, you're already dressed?"

"Just get out!" He barks.

"Right, let's go see how Jiro's doing," Eijiro rushes, grabbing Shoto's hand and dragging him out behind him. Katsuki falls back into the bed after they leave the room, closing his eyes for only a couple of minutes before getting up and getting himself ready for their meeting. He hates to admit it, but some part of him knows that Shoto was right. If the commission has their sights set on Izuku for some reason, he needs to be warier of that, more careful. Even with that thought nagging at the back of his mind, he wants nothing more than to be able to shrug it off and keep going as usual.

He makes his way down to the lobby to find all of his friends waiting at the front of the lobby for him before they make their way to the car. The ride is quiet, almost awkwardly so, considering Eijiro and Shoto usually never shut up while around each other. He frowns and turns to look out the window, his head drifting to brighter thoughts of Izuku. He can't help but smile ever so slightly as he remembers the day at the warehouse when they baked together and just being at work together. His heart swells especially upon recall of the day at the dandelion field. How could he be on their radar? What is there to be alarmed about?
