The Proximation of Hello and Goodbye

Izuku has walked hand in hand with Katsu all the way to Blends and Benefits and now that they're here, they say their goodbyes before parting ways for the day. They've been dating for two weeks now, and he decided to move in with him a couple of days ago. It's been a smooth-moving process between the two of them and Ena and Akasuki helping when and where they can. It all feels so fast, but at the same time, it feels nothing short of perfect. He watches Katsu for a moment until he disappears around the corner of the street before walking into the store. He walks toward the back to start helping with making drinks while he waits for the cashier to finish having their till closed. He runs a finished drink to the cashier and starts to head back to make another one before Akasuki steps out of the back to call him back. "Izu," she calls in a sing-song fashion. "Would you mind coming to the back for a moment?"

"Sure, give me a second," he answers.

"Whenever you're ready!"

He strides across the floor to hand over the ticket he'd picked up to someone else so that they can make the drink in his place. He hurries to the back to find Akasuki waiting for him in the office. "Hey, Su. What's going on?" he asks.

Ena's voice starts to speak from behind him and he looks over his shoulder to see her standing in the doorway. "Did you really think that moving out of my apartment would save you from having to tell us about your first date?" she asks with her arms crossed.

"Guys, we're at work. I promise I'll fill you both in on the details soo, it's just been so--"

"Busy," the two girls answer in unison. Akasuki sighs, "We understand, Izuku. But we're dying for something over here. We haven't heard anything, and we know that there's plenty to tell. So, here's what we're going to do. I have more than enough people working the floor today. As for the three of us? We're going to the break room and having a little chit-chat. And during this talk, you are going to give us every detail about how the past couple of weeks have been with Katsu because you finally have a boyfriend that we like and it's about time we have some good ol' fashioned girls and gays discourse."

His other friend goes on to add to that, "And then we're just gonna fuck around until closing time because Akasuki didn't think that far ahead."

"You two are insane," Izuku counters with playful disbelief.

"No, that would be you, Midoriya Izuku. Now, carry your ass to that back room before I do it myself," Ena answers.

"You wouldn't dare!" he laughs.

Akasuki rests her arm on his shoulder and leans closer to whisper. "Look at us Izu. Do we look like we're playing? Try her. Try me. We miss you, you little shit."

"Wait a minute! Akasuki, since when did you start using language like that?"

"Since you left me alone with Ena at her apartment! The only way to save me from myself is to get to that breakroom and start talking. Do I have to get on my knees and beg or what?" she asks.

Izuku throws his head back in a fit of laughter, hugging his abdomen as he hunches over, completely overtaken by his display of joy. "Fine, fine. I'll tell you everything. Let's go."

The three friends make their way through the halls to the breakroom, Ena automatically locking the door behind them as they settle into their places around the room. Akasuki takes a seat at the small table set out in the middle of the room for people to eat at, Ena takes a spot on the couch situating herself so that she's lounging in what looks like a rather comfortable matter, and Izuku begins to take a seat on the floor between the two spaces, but not before Ena asks him to grab her a snack. He grabs her a bag of chips and tosses them as he takes his seat on the floor before Akasuki starts asking questions. "So, start with the date. What did you end up wearing? How was the ramen? And the surprise?" she inquires.
