"You two are so cute it's sickening," Ena murmurs. "I really can't believe I fought for this to happen and now I have to watch it like a chick-flick unfolding before my very eyes every day." To further enforce her point she makes an audible gag, causing Akasuki to elbow her rather aggressively. Katsuki sticks his tongue out in a taunting gesture to Ena which causes Izuku to nudge him softly. Ena's mouth drops open, "This has got to be a joke. All he gets is a loving little warning elbow and I get Akasuki's anchor to the lungs!?"

Akasuki rolls her eyes, "Well, you were being mean."

"And, he wasn't?" Ena asks, incredulously. "Look at the bastard, all smug and shit. Listen Hot Hands, if it weren't for me you would've never stood a chance."

"Can't do anything to change it now, Metal Face," he jeers. "Can't fix it now."

Ena scoffs, "Try me." She marches toward Katsuki and Izuku moves so that he's standing between the two. He knows that these two are likely to get into a scuffle. He's seen it happen before. As much as they love one another, they really do test the other's patience fairly often. Last time, Katsuki was butthurt over a bruise on his arm and Ena wouldn't stop whining about the small scratch she got on her face. They really do bicker like a set of siblings. She huffs, "You're lucky that you're my favorite person's favorite person."

"Ena," Izuku starts.

"Damn right I am," Katsuki chuckles.

Izuku turns on his heel, "Kacchan!"

"What, I am, aren't I?" he asks.

He rolls his eyes, "All three of you are my favorite people. Nothing will change that. You're all my favorites for different reasons."

Katsuki smirks, "Aw, come on, Izuku. You're gonna have to break it to them eventually. Just get it over with."

Ena growls. "That's it, smart ass."

As if it were a sick, twisted miracle, Katsuki gets a phone call from Kirishima and throws his hand out, keeping Ena stopped directly in front of Izuku and held at arm's length. "Hey, E. What's up?... No, I've been out with the imbeciles and Izuku."

"Imbeciles!?" Ena shouts.

"Do you mind? I'm on a phone call," Katsuki snaps. "Yeah, give us a minute. I'll call you when I see." He hangs up the phone and sighs. "Alright guys. Let's get back to the apartment. I need to look at something."

The group all walk back to Katsuki's apartment, Katsuki and Izuku walking hand in hand as Ena and Akasuki trail behind. Upon arriving, Ena throws herself onto the couch and Akasuki takes a seat on the couch. Izuku walks into the bedroom to grab something as Katsuki turns on the TV to a live news broadcast. "--Today, the Japanese government has announced that hero work will no longer be sought out as the job will no longer be offered. Though the measures being taken are not as extreme as those taken in the United States and other countries worldwide only three weeks ago, it now implies that heroes are rendered practically useless. Though it is still legal, it is no longer a government-endorsed profession. The numbers of heroes on the streets are expected to dwindle somewhat, due to the shift in pay sources. Without proper support from the public, many agencies are expected to shut down in the following days. The police force still remains intact and there are no further details at this time."

Katsuki falls to his knees on the floor. Damn commission. I swear, they're good for nothing. We could've stopped this. This could've been helped. Why wasn't it helped. His hands feel as numb as the rest of him as he reaches for his phone and calls Eijiro. "I just saw," he murmurs. "Please tell me that they have everything else for plan b in place."
