Cold, dank air surrounded Vanessa as the slowly moved her flashlight beam over the charging tube.

No response.

"I know you're in there. The tube was locked when I left and there's no way that you got out." More silence. Fine. She would play his game. He wouldn't respond, so he would listen.

"First of all, fuck you. Fuck everything you have ever laid your hands on or valued. You are the biggest piece of shit to ever stand on the face of the earth and I can guarantee that whatever afterlife there is has a special spot reserved for you to rot in." She took a breath to try and calm down. Yelling will just make him satisfied. Don't let him get to you. "But you already know that.

"There's nothing I can do to make you change your ways, no way for you to understand that what you've done is wrong; because if you couldn't figure that out the first time you murder a fucking child, then I don't think there's hope for you."

"They didn't do anything to you, and neither did I. I was just testing a fucking video game and you decided to take the opportunity and ruined years of my life and countless others." She could feel the pain in the air, how much he had hurt not only him but tens of children. She could feel not only her own rage at him, but theirs as well, and she used that to her advantage. Taking the unexpected burst of courage to lay all her cards on the table.

"That's why this ends here." Some shadow moved in the tube, that caught his attention. "I know that you've survived at least two fires and who knows what else. I don't know what you made that thing out of but I can't destroy it. So I'm not going to." He was closer to the tube window now. She could make out a blurry figure.

"I'm going to take that suit apart piece by piece; every screw, every bolt, every spring, every scrap of fabric, and bury each one twenty feet underground and hide them all over the world. I'm going to make it impossible to reassemble you in any meaningful way." A guttural scream, garbled with static and age, echoed through the room and he started attacking the charging tube. Vanessa barely flinched.

"Those tubs have been specifically designed to keep animatronics locked inside. I call it orchestrating your own downfall since we only have these safety precautions because you kept using the animatronics to murder kids. They can keep an enraged Monty Gator contained for days on end, and you're so weak that the map bots are probably stronger that you. It's like a child trying to open a locked vault." Another scream. Vanessa felt some sick satisfaction at him yelling.

"Stop, give up, and accept the fact that you finally fucking lost." He kept banging on the tube, trying desperately to scare her, but his arms were so old, so burnt, so decayed, that he stopped and just pressed the remained of his head against the glass for her to see.

She looked him in the eyes and poured every ounce of hatred she had into her words.

"You lost a long time ago William. So fucking act like an adult and accept your defeat." He started at her, and she knew he didn't. He has managed to win, or at least survive, for so long that he was convinced he would escape.

But not this time.

Never again would he roam free.

Vanessa would be sure of that.

Waking up sucked. His eyes were heavy and every time he tried to open them they just slid back shut. He lifted his arm to rub at his eyes, but something was off. He stretched a bit before realizing what it was.

Freddy was holding him. They had been cuddling. His first response was to run away. Being held like this was for kids and this was just embarrassing! He was old enough to take care of himself. He tried to get out of Freddy's arms without notice, but to no avail.
