Luz peeked out from backstage at the crowd in the auditorium. She had performed in front of crowds before as she sang and had a small part in A Midsummer Nights Dream, but it still made her nervous.

"Why does it look like the amount of seats in the theater has doubled?" Luz asked looking at the crowd.

"Because your nervous." Amity said. "Luzzy look at me." Luz looked at her cotton candy haired girlfriend. "It's gonna be okay, babe. Your gonna do great."

Luz let out a breath she didn't she was holding. She knew her girlfriend was right, as she usually was, but the Latina couldn't help but be nervous. Ever since Amity and her got together, the Latina has never been happier. Over time, the two had become the school's cutest power couple.

Now Luz was about to serenade her in front of half the school. No pressure. "Your going to do great babe." Amity gave Luz a loving gentle kiss. Luz smiled as all of her worries melted away. "I'll be in the second row, find me if you get nervous."

"Okay." Luz said. "Thanks baby."

"That's what I'm here for." Amity said smiling. "Now go out there and show the audience some of that Noceda magic."

Luz giggled. She loved it when Amity said that. Maybe it was because both of them were huge Azura fans, but it always made Luz feel special.

"I love you." Amity said.

"I love you too." Replied Luz.

Amity gave Luz another kiss, hugged her and walked out to find her seat.

"Before we see our next act, I just want to remind everyone that this is an open talent night. Anyone at anytime can come up and write their name down to perform." A woman said into the mic. "This isn't a competition and there are no prizes. Despite what some of you have said and heard, I'm looking at you Boscha."

The audience burst into laughter. "And don't try to lie girl, know what your thinking. I have no problem roasting you in front of everyone. Hell I'll even roast myself." More laughter came from the audience. "And sad as it is to say, I have actually done that. The woman chuckled before looking down at her clipboard. "So for our next act, we have Luz Noceda."

Luz took a deep breath, tightened her guitar strap around her shoulder and walked on stage. "Um, h-hi everyone." Luz said into the microphone nervously. "This song goes out to a certain sweet potato. I love you Amity."

Oooh's and awww's came from the audience as Luz tuned her guitar. Amity blushed bright red as a small smile formed on her face.

Amity's jaw dropped along with half the audience. She recognized the song. Luz played it for her once on her birthday. Amity had gotten sick the day before her birthday party, so the Blight spent her 15th birthday sick and alone in her room.

Amity felt miserable that day from both being isolated and from the cold. So Luz set up a video call later and sang this song for her. The rest of the audience was silent; not just out of respect for the person on stage, but also because they were all too stunned to say anything. Luz got ready for the chorus.

Amity's blush got bigger as did her smile. Looking at the little cat necklace hanging around her neck that Luz gave her, she smiled and went back to watching her brunette on stage. Luz took a small breath in and prepared for the next part. It was this part of the song that she always had trouble with.

The silence in the audience was broken as a few cheers and applause came out. Luz smiled and continued playing, getting ready for the next part.

Luz scanned the crowd looking for Amity as she played. After a few moments, Luz locked eyes with her cotton candy haired goddess.

Luz moved her fingers as she got ready to play the next part, her eyes never leaving Amity. It felt like everyone else disappeared leaving only them in theater.

As Luz finished her song, the audience erupted into cheers and applause. The Latina smiled, adrenaline running through her as she took several deep breaths. "Well." The woman said into the mic smiling. "I think we all know who would win if this was a competition."

The crowd kept cheering louder. Through the cheers, Amity got up from her seat, ran down the aisle and onto the stage. She tackled Luz in a tight hug, which the brunette returned spinning her around.

Luz gave Amity a small gentle kiss causing more cheering from crowd. "Happy anniversary Amity." She whispered.

"Happy Anniversary Luz." Amity whispered back. "I love you too."
