Morgan's PoV
Dad had finally decided that we could sleep in separate houses so instead of all of us sleeping together in the living room we split up. Dad, Carl, Judy, Michonne, Daryl, Carol and me in one with the rest of them right next door.
At the moment I was home with Judith. We were in the living room, me on the couch reading a comic book that Ron had lent me and Judy in a play pen with some toys that Jessie had dropped off earlier.
I looked up from my comic when Judith made a noise, "Y'alright there Jude?" I asked my sister who held up a toy train in my direction, "That's a train, it goes choo choo."
I turned away from the baby girl when the front door opened and dad stepped inside the house. It was weird seeing him in a uniform again almost taking me back to when the world was normal, "There's a party tonight." He told me, walking further into the room and over to the play pen and picking Judith up.
"Do you want us to go?" I asked him, closing my comic and standing up.
"I do." He nodded.
I nodded to him, "Then we'll go."

Carl and I were sat in our room playing catch with a tennis ball whilst we waited for what Carol was cooking to be done so we could leave for the party. "So what do you think of this place?" He asked me as He tossed the ball across to me.
"I dunno... I guess it's just too normal." I told him, catching the ball.
"Is that a bad thing?" He questioned.
"I think I just don't want us all to let our guards down and then lose who we were out there, forget how to survive."
Before he could reply there was a knock at our door and dad stepped inside, "We're leaving now." He told us before turning around and walking in the direction of Judy's room.
The two of us got up and left the bedroom, heading downstairs where Carol was waiting with a casserole in her hands. She gave us a smile and once dad joined us with Judith I opened the door and we left the house.
We walked the streets of Alexandria until we reached Deannas home, I could hear the loud music from outside and the people talking inside were loud. We walked up the porch and stepped inside the house, Deanna immediately noticed us and walked over, "Welcome." She greeted us with a smile.
"Hi." Carol said, keeping up her innocent and harmless lady facade.
"Oh, it's good to see you." Deanna said, "Hi Carl, Hi Morgan. Thank you for coming." She said, before looking at Dad and Judy, "Y'know, I never got the chance to interview this one. I envy her."
"Why?" Dad questioned.
"She'll get to see what this place will become." She said before leading us further into her house.
The front door opened again and Abraham and Rosita stepped in looking rather unhappy. I smiled at them both before walking away with Carl to go and get a drink.
———
Carl left me after a while when Ron came over to us and invited us to join him and Mickey. I didn't feel like it and declined, instead sitting down on a random chair in a corner of the room. "You alright over here?" I looked up from the floor and saw Tara stood in front of me.
