Chapter 9: Leaving the school

We were stranded out in the middle of the forest while being scared and covered in cuts and scrapes. We felt like death had come upon us, if only it did.

"We made it guys." I whispered as my consciousness began to fade.

You're probably wondering what happened, let me tell you.

It all happened last night when I was with Chase, Kory, and Luna. Of course, we had to face some obstacles such as my uncle and the populars, but honestly, it was harder than I thought.

** Last night.**

I stood there in my room as I waited for my friends to step out of the room next to mine. Luna was in the bathroom getting ready as Chase was in his dorm room also getting ready. I was the only one that was dressed. We had our plan ready to start, but our clothes... Not so much. I was dressed properly but not them. I was dressed in what I would usually wear but in black.

I looked out the window while staring into the nothingness as the dream came back to my memory. I still couldn't believe that I had a brother, much less know that he ran away from the magical society of the witches and worlocks. Being powerful himself, he didn't have to leave but the question is as to why he did. I looked further into the background and I found a forest. It was dark and seemed scary. I could hear the faint howling of the wolves. I admit that it use to scare me, but as I grew up in a forest with my foster mother, I became quick friends with the wild life. No, I am not Aurora, or Cinderella, or Snow White. I am Phoebe Dareskestia.

I waited for a while longer until the door flew open only to reveal Chase standing there. He was dressed in black too but when he kicked open the door as he walked inside.

"Honey! I'm home!" Chase shouted as he walked inside. My best guy friend, everyone.

In less than a minute, Luna opened the door and did some type of pose as she said something.

"Hashtag fabulous!" Luna is special and she started looking at her news-feeds on her phone. I didn't get her often but I do sometimes.

I know what you're probably thinking, its cliché but at the moment, very true. They have a special way of showing their personalities. First time that I met them, they were different but now, they opened up like I did. I didn't really do that stuff but I trust them.

Anyway, I smiled as they plopped down on to the bed that moved slightly. They kept looking at their phones. I did the same remembering that I had a phone from my uncle. He gave it to me just in case that I got hurt and the fact that every teenager had one here.

I looked at the time realizing that it was nearly time to start the plan. The clock was ticking which meant that we were running out of time to perfect the plan. I guess that if something goes wrong, we wing it.

Luna and Chase must have checked the time because they got up and started to talk.

"Time to go." Luna said as she helped me up off the bed.

"Let's go. We have to get Kory." Chase said as he went to the door. I completely forgot about Kory coming. I didn't fully trust him yet but I needed help, so when we asked him last night, he was more than happy to do so. I think that Kory and I will be good friends in a close future.

Luna started to pull me behind her while she walked towards the door, she passed Chase who stood there while holding the door open for us. When we finally past him, Chase ran down the hallway to the guy dorms.

We finally made it to Chase's hallway. We followed him down and everything was okay until we seen Troy. He was with another one of his girls. He's a player and it would hurt but I don't care. The only thing that I hate is that the girl with him is none other than Jennifer. I could laugh at his behavior but then I would have to deal with them. That isn't on my list at the moment.

I quicken my pace as we hurry towards Kory's door.

"Phoebe?" A screechy voice says. Jennifer's to be more into detail.

"Kory!!!" I shout as I pound on the door. Luna and Chase do the same until the door opens. We run in hoping that Jennifer doesn't come but I know that Troy might and she will follow him.

Nothing happened as we went near Kory's bed and he took a seat at his desk.

"What's up?" He asked. This is when we told him everything from start to end. Kory just sat there while listening to what we were saying as he nodded. Chase was explaining some parts as Luna took over others. I only said some parts that I was alone when it happened. By the end of the story, Kory finally spoke.

"So, what you're telling me is that Phoebe wants to see her long lost brother who was banished for seeing werewolves, Jennifer is still the mean girl of the school, Troy is still the player, and Mr. Grandimir is still scary as Hell."

"Pretty much what we just said but the shorter version." Luna spoke back.

We all nodded in agreement.

"When do we start?" Kory asked. He was in.

Heyo! I'm sorry that I don't update much. I have my big exams coming up, homework, parties, so many books around my things that I have to finish, and the fact that I have a life a life outside of my books. *Gasp.* I actually do and books are the main thing in life other than family and close friends.

Anyway, I completely forgot about Kory Williams. So I had to add him in here somewhere. Um... I remembered that Leo exists along with Hecklio, Pixia, Chase, Luna, Phoebe, and everyone else. I didn't forget about the majority of them, just the new guy from chapter 5. Sad but true. So, I hope y'all liked the chapter.
