A witch's tale (The witch chronicles, book 1)

Chapter 2: first day, big mistake

"It's going to be a normal day” they said. “ You’ll love it here” they said.
Ha! Yeah right! It was horrible. Let me rewind to the begining when I just got out of the car...

So, we finaly get at Dust Academy and my uncle parks the car. I get out while he grabs my things. Dust Academy is so beautiful with its sparkly pixiedust around the school grounds which I assume is the magic barrier. I take my stuff which is just a black duffle bag, and I start walking towards the door when people start looking at me and whispering. So, I just keep going forward when I’m given a piece of paper ( school map with room numbers) to indicate where I’m going. This is the part where Hecklio tells me he has to go. Great, I’m alone just like I was for my entier life. 
I decide to take a left towards my room on level 1-T when I bump into a groupe of teenagers, 3 bleach-blond girls and 2 guys with spiked hair. The first bleach-blond talks. I knew the second I seen them that they were the populars. Fudge.
“Hi, I’m Jennifer and you’re not suppose to be here little freak.” She said. I didn’t reply, only because its my first day and Hecklio will probably kill me.
“What cat has your lips sealed?” Jennifer continued. Its getting harder to keep my mouth shut. “Oh, little miss witch over here is giving me the silent treatment because she knows its true.” That’s it I’m gonna crack and who cares she deserves it.
“I’m sorry, I don’t speak idiot. For the moment, I thought you were just doing a joke with me.” I said to her as a comeback, and everyone around said: “ohhhh”.
“Do you even know who you’re talking to?” She asked as if she were royalty.” I’m Jennifer Witavisk, the queen’s daughter.”
“Okay, but do you know who I am?” I told her with a look that could kill.
“No, and I don’t need to.” Said she.
“Oh so, you don’t care that I’m from the Dareskestia bloodline or that I’m Hecklio Grandimir’s niece?” I shot back.
“Impossible, M. Grandimir’s brother died alone with his wife and the baby also died in the fire.” She said as she herself was trying to get the logic behind my words.
“Oh okay. Then go ask Headmistress Pixia” I said as I left. As soon as I did someone slushied me. Awsome first day and its only begun.

It took a few hours to find my room, in which I don’t have a roomate, and to get the slushy out. Afterwards, I got out my room after unpacking and I finaly get out of my dorm. Troy rams right into me and I fall hard on the floor.
“Hey, I didn’t see you there.” Troy said.
“Well, I wish nobody would see me just like you.” I said as I gave him a weak smile.
“Oh, bad first day, huh?”
“ You’ve guessed it.” I replied.
“So, who did you run into?” He asked.
“Jennifer and her crew.” 
“Oh so you’ve met my friends...”
“Yeah, and they really are the batclub” I told him. “Well, I have to go now, before I get stuck in another thing.”
I started to leave when he decided to grab my arm and say “I won’t be one of those students who will harm you. I’ll just be a nice friend for you to rely on in case you need me.” As soon as it was said he left and I was alone. 
At the moment, I felt relieved that at least one student liked me. Now its time to actually make real friend other than the populars. As soon as that thought came, I went to my dorm and went to bed from the jet lag I got from being in the car.
