School ended. 8 minute break was at the end of the day so people spent the last few minutes chatting with their friends. Travis had at least 4 classes with Sal. They both didn't talk to each other. But Travis was looking at Sal without getting caught. Well, he did get caught once.

[ Travis' POV ]
I was walking to my locker to get my things out and ready to head home. My heart rate was now at a steady pace. My face wasn't as hot as it was. But I still had my thoughts on Sal, for some reason... I hate him though. So, why would I be thinking about him?

I looked at the clock.'Few minutes till this time ends.' I looked over at Sal who was at his locker alone. I had a urge to walk over to him but I didn't. I was kinda afraid of saying something wrong. I did think I could be nicer to him. But why? I don't want to be a good person to him. If I did, what would I do in the end?

Plus, why would Sal be friends with me? After everything I've done. I would assume he would drop me. As friend. Like some others did.
Wait, why am I thinking this? I don't even wanna get close to Sal.
I sigh and left my thoughts alone. The bell rings and everyone left. I walk out the school and got a buzz on my phone. It was my dad.

Father- Hey Travis, I left home early. Things are going on. Your mom is still home. I'll be home at 12 tonight. See you later.

Travis- okay. Thanks for letting me know sir.

Rule 3: answer back on a message, immediately. After I answered the phone and put it away, I waited for busses and cars to go by in front of the school. As soon as I tried to walk off I felt someone grab my shoulder.

"Why the hell did you punch Sal?!" It was Larry. Now I wouldn't say I'm scared of him. Not fully, but I just didn't like how he raised his voice once in a while. Or even physically hurts me. But I still stand up to him.

Anyways, I'm guessing Sal told him I punch him in the bathrooms. Hopefully he didn't tell him about the...interaction we had.
"Why are you even asking freak?" He grabbed me by my sweater,
"mess with him you're messing with me." I looked at his hand, which was raised up, about to punch me. Me, being a coward, I didn't do anything besides closed my eyes and hoped it would be over and done with. But that wasn't the case. I opened my eyes because I didn't get punched and Larry loosened his grip from my sweater. I sawnSal holding Larry's arm, stopping him from punching me.
'Why did he help me? I would've been fine.' I backed up a little from both of them.
"Larry, go with Todd, I'll catch up" Sal said looking at me.
"What?! No! I'm not going to leave you." Sal looked at Larry and nodded to him,
"I'll be fine. Dude, just go." Larry gave me a death look.

"Fine, but tell me when somethings off. Got it?" Sal nodded to Larry. Larry walked off. And Sal looked at me. I could tell he was smiling at me because of his eyes.
"What do you want freak?" I asked looking away.
'I hope he doesn't see me blushing.'
"I was wondering if you wanted to walk together. Plus, I just want to chat for while." I looked at him confused.
'Does he not remember what happened in the bathrooms?' I thought and responded even more confused,
"don't you live in Addison's Apartment?" He giggle a little.
'God, why did he make that giggle. It sounded so cute. Wait...Stop! You hate him!' I guess I was blushing because he asked me if I was alright.

"Huh? Yeah, I'm fine. But answer my question." Sal looked at me. And got close to me. But not too close,
"Travis, me and you are on the same route to our houses, I saw you walk by the apartment." Wow, I guess I couldn't get out of this one.
"Fine, but don't say anything to me." Sal nodded.
"But don't expect me to keep promises" he winked at.
'Stop, thinking about him Travis. Its wrong to like another guy.' I looked away.
"You're really gonna annoying me, huh sally face?" Sal nodded. I sighed and started to walk, and he followed.

"Soo, Travis...could I ask you something?" I looked at him, I was worried what he was going to ask because there could be a lot he could ask.
"Um...what is it?"

[ Sal's POV ]
I was looking away from Travis. We were walking to our houses.
"So, about that interaction we did...in the bathrooms...were you about to take off my mask?" I asked while looking down. Once again, I'm glad I was wearing my mask because I was blushing a little. Travis was quiet. It seemed like he didn't want to answer, but he forced himself to answer anyway,
"B-because...I wanted to punch you without your mask on." I was confused. It didn't sound very convincing.

"Now stop talking." Travis kept on walking. I also had another question on my mind,
"why don't you like being called Trav?" He stopped walking and I stopped with him. He was looking down.
"Well?" I said, trying to get at least an answer from him.
"Well...its just...I don't like being called nicknames, okay? Now I told you to stop talking." I didn't listen,
"you don't like nicknames, you want to see me without my mask, is there anything else?" Travis looked at me and grabbed me by my sweater like he did before we left the school.
"Look don't you ever shut up." I wasn't giving off emotion. No, not because of my mask, but like actually not giving an expression under the mask. Travis just looked at me. I could tell he wanted to punch me, but he didn't. I just grabbed his hand and looked at him,
"if you want to hit me, go ahead, you already did it once."

Before I know it, he didn't hit me. He decided to put his hand on my face to pull me closer. This time, he was gentle.
'Oh god...what is he gonna do now?' He put his hand on my strap again, this time, only wanting consent. I stopped him from going further to the back of my head. I looked at him,

"I rather wait longer to show my face if that's what you want." He stopped, and let go of me.
"Can we just...continue walking?" I chuckled a little,
"you were the one who stopped walking first." He rolled his eyes and walked and I followed.
'He's really wanting to see me without my mask. But...how do I know I can trust him?'
