Next Day, Author's POV

Mr Hong was sitting with Mr Kim in his office, Mrs Kim works in different department so she was not with them

MrHong: our plan is working a bit

Mr Kim looked confused

MrHong: Y/n is coming today, she accepted the offer which I gave her
MrKim: that's good

Mr Kim continue doing the paperwork, he was embarassed to look into his best friend's eyes while talking about Y/n. He was ashamed of her, didn't expect his daughter would do this cheap thing. He didn't talk to her ever since that day. He needed time to accept what was thrown at him

MrHong: I have viewed her papers which you gave, she is eligible for the job, just lacks experience
MrKim: she's always been enjoying herself to the point she forgot who she is

Mr Kim chuckled bitterly

MrHong: my dear friend, it's her fault.. don't take the blame on yourself. I have observed that you don't talk to me the way you used to.. you have become very formal
MrKim: a child's doing always depends on their parents' teaching and i failed..
MrHong: I have given her a chance, you should too

Mr Kim stayed silent for few seconds

MrKim: I can never forgive her..

Mr Kim started sobbing and soon his cries were heard in the empty room. Mr Hong comforted him

MrHong: let's see it later.. let's have some drinks tonight, party! Bills on me

Mr Kim chuckled as well as his dear friend

MrHong: may whatever happen, Jin, you will always be my friend no matter what
MrKim: I'm honoured to be your friend
MrHong: ayy don't say that. Let's get back to our work, your daughter- sorry our daughter will soon be coming

After having some deep chat with his friend earlier, Mr Hong's anger for y/n went away, he thought that y/n can change and she is the only one who should change Joshua's life too since she is the one who changed his real self
