It's 10 and I'm here at the company. One of the staff guided me to Dad's office. Joshua leaves at 8 normally so he already reached here before me. I'm a bit scared.. I am not confident at all since i don't have experience and Dad's behaviour towards me isn't friendly at all

Dad soon entered the room

Dad: so sorry I am late, had some work
Y/n: it's okay
Dad: I'm happy that you came here
Y/n: I don't want to pressure Joshua much and I too want to stand on my own feet
Dad: that's my girl!

Dad said with a proud smile, he is back again.. the same sweet dad. I feel so happy

Dad: I have checked everything, glad you did commerce. You are eligible so I'm giving you the post of the CEO's secretary. Remember, it will be hard, it's not easy at all
Y/n: I am willing to take it all

I said with a smile and pride in my eyes, Dad seemed impressed

Dad: Joshua still isn't a CEO yet. I'm telling you a secret, I'm going to send him somewhere for work and once he comes back, I'm going to officially declare that he will become the CEO

Dad said with a bright smile. I felt so happy, I heard Joshua has been working a lot for this and finally, his dream will become true, I'm sooo happy

Dad: don't tell anyone, it's a secret between us
Y/n: okayy

I whispered while keeping my index finger on my lips playing along. We both started laughing later

Dad: bring my old son back

Dad said while smiling. I was a bit confused but realised later what he meant. Idk how to but i will try

Y/n: I'll try
Dad: thank you.. you have time off till next Saturday, he will come back on Friday, ofcourse he'll have a day off. On Monday I'll announce it and on Tuesday we'll throw a party, from Wednesday, you shall start with your work
Y/n: thank you dad for giving me this opportunity
