MAL SAT ON THE GRASS, FACING THE BARN WITH NARROWED EYES. The barn really was not that far from where her group slept. If the walkers broke through the locks, they'd see the group first. If the walkers were to attack, only a few could get away. It would most likely be Carl, Lori, and Shane. Maybe Rick.
"Could you be more obvious?" Maggie asked, placing a basket next to her. "Here, enjoy."
"Are you trying to buy my silence with fruit?" Mal asked, looking up to Maggie.
"Of course not. There's also jerky."
"Why does your dad have a barn full of walkers?" Mal stood up. "It's dangerous, and creepy."
"Shh."
"You know that, right?"
"Shh. Just trust me on this, okay?"
"If they were to escape, we'd be the first to die, Maggie." Mal scoffed.
"You have to keep this to yourself." Maggie pleaded. Mal went to object, but Maggie spoke again. "You have to. Please."
Maggie left, not letting Mal object anymore.
"Son of a bitch." She muttered, picking up the basket and walking to Dale, T-Dog, and Glenn. "Here's some peaches." She awkwardly held the basket out to them.
"Sup." T-Dog nodded.
"Nothing's up." She chuckled nervously, glancing at the three of them before shuffling away.

"YOU GONNA TELL ME GOING ON?" Glenn asked her, sitting down next to her.
"Well, um." She trailed off. "Hershel's been keeping walkers in the barn."
"He's what?" Glenn exclaimed with wide eyes.
"Be quiet!" She whispered, slapping his chest. "I found out yesterday and Maggie's been telling me that I have to keep this to myself."
"We can't." Glenn immediately said. "We have to tell them."
"No, you have to tell them." Mal corrected. "You can't keep secrets for shit, and they'll take it better coming from you."
"I can keep secrets." He defended, Mal gave him a look. "Why can't you tell them?"
"It took a lot longer for me to even talk to them." She deadpanned. "They trust you more than they trust me."
