Y/N'S POV~
I stayed over at Max's last night and now we're outside her house while she practices tricks on her skateboard. I'm sitting on the curb watching and smiling at her every time she gets it right or messes up. Her reactions are adorable.

"God dammit!" She yells and steps off the board looking at me.

"What trick are you even trying to do anyway?" I ask her standing up and kissing the backs of her hands.

"Just a stupid Ollie." She says rolling her eyes.

"Oh well try one more time? And if you don't get it I'll let you finally teach me how to skateboard." I offer smiling when her face lights up. She's been wanting to teach me for so long and I just wouldn't let her.

"Deal!" She pecks my lips quickly and hops back on her skateboard to attempt the trick again. "Shit!" She almost falls off the board and it starts rolling away down the street. Eleven then pops up the board into her hands and walks over to Max.

"Hi." Eleven says handing the board to my girlfriend and I hop up standing next to her.

"Hi?" Max questions El, they haven't really talked like at all, so it is kinda weird seeing her come over here.

"Can we talk?" She asks and Max nods grabbing my hand and bringing El inside with us. "And then he said he— he missed me. And then he just hung up." She finishes explaining what Mike did. The two of us are sitting on the bed while Max paces back and forth.

"He's a piece of shit." Max comments looking at the brunette.

"What?" El looks at her confused.

"Mike doesn't have jack shit to do today, and his Nana obviously isn't sick." I say shaking my head.

"I guarantee you, him and Lucas are playing Atari right now." She says pointing at Eleven.

"But friends don't lie." El counters.

"Yeah, well, boyfriends lie. All the time." Max says before glancing at me, "I've had experience."

I stretch out onto my back sighing, "This is why I'm gay." I laugh.

"What is gay?" Eleven asks and I sit up wide eyed.

"When two guys or two girls like each-other. Like Max and I." I explain briefly and Max sits on the bed next to me.

"You're going to stop calling him. You're going to ignore his calls. As far as you're concerned he doesn't exist." Max says coaching El.

"Doesn't exist?" She asks.

"He treated you like garbage. You're gonna treat him like garbage. Give him a taste of his own medicine." I jump in wrapping my arms around Max's waist resting my chin on her shoulder.

"Give him the medicine." El says nodding.

"Mm-hmm. And if he doesn't fix this, if he doesn't explain himself, dump his ass." Max states a small smile on her face.

"Come on." I say hopping up and pulling El with me.

"Where are we going?" She looks between Max and I.

"To have some fun. There's more to life than stupid boys, you know." Max chimes grabbing a hold of my hand as the three of us walk out of the house.

~Time Skip~

We get off the bus at the mall smiling until Eleven stares at the sign with a frown on her face. "Hey, what's wrong?" Max asks.

"Too many people. Against the rules." El says looking at us.
