Observing their highly advanced sonar system on the Neo Atlantean command battleship, Gargoyle and his henchmen watched as the Garfish zeroed in on the Nautilus.
(Distant Beeping)
GARGOYLE'S HENCHMEN #1: Target has entered the Fourth Sector!
GARGOYLE'S HENCHMEN #2: The ignorant moth flicks closer to the flame, sir.
GARGOYLE: This is the conclusion of its final voyage.
Underwater, the Nautilus sat at their posts with anticipation.
NAVIGATOR: Two kilometers to reach the Kermodec Trench.
CAPTAIN NEMO: Send out a pulse.
SONAR OFFICER: Aye aye, sir.
(Sonar Beeping)
SONAR OFFICER: Captain Nemo, the enemy fleet has deployed six Garfish submarine battleships from 10 o'clock to 2 o'clock.
CHIEF ENGINEER: Six of them versus us? This is gonna be a tough one!
CAPTAIN NEMO: What's worse is that we can be sure that there are more on our flank and beyond our sonar.
ELECTRA: This is what you would call a tight pinch, sir.
(Transition To Neo-Atlantean Battleship)
GARGOYLE'S HENCHMEN #1: Target has entered the Third Sector.
GARGOYLE: Proceed with Operation D-2.
GARGOYLE'S HENCHMEN #1: Understood. As you command.
GARGOYLE'S HENCHMEN #1 ON INTERCOM: Garfish 6 through 12, proceed with Operation D-2!
(Garfish Submarines Rumbling; Transition Back to the Bridge)
SONAR OFFICER: They're flooding their torpedo tubes! Distance: 2.2 kilometers!
(Garfish Torpedoes Screeching)
SONAR OFFICER: Torpedoes away! Twenty-four closing at two kilometers!
FIRST HELMSMAN: They're creating a torpedo storm!
(Garfish Torpedoes Continue Screeching)
SONAR OFFICER: Sixty seconds until impact, sir!
CAPTAIN NEMO: Launch baffle counter strike!
ELECTRA: Aye aye, sir!
A tidal of wave of missiles launched from the Nautilus, confronting the incoming torpedoes. Despite the volley, however, five of the Garfish's torpedoes still whooshed through the explosions!
SONAR OFFICER: No good! They've broken through the barrier!
CAPTAIN NEMO: Bring all engines to full! Descend and evade!
(Nautilus Roaring As It Lowers To The Seabed; Garfish Torpedoes Continue Screeching)
SONAR OFFICER: Twenty seconds to impact, Captain!
CAPTAIN NEMO: Scrape our belly on the sea floor, Helmsman!
(Nautilus Touches Bottom; Garfish Torpedoes Continue Screeching)
SONAR OFFICER: Ten, sir!
(Four Garfish Torpedoes Pass By)
SONAR OFFICER: Four passed over us, sir!
ELECTRA: There's still one more!
The final torpedo plowed into the seabed inches away from the Nautilus's port side! Nemo and the crew members braced themselves as the explosion shook the submarine with full force. Confined to Block Three Shelter, Nadia, Jean, and the others screamed and clutched each other tightly. After a moment, the rocking subsided.
