The year was 1889. Countless ships were being consumed beneath the waves of the Atlantic Ocean. The people whispered in fear about terrible sea monsters. However, governments of the world suspected that the ships were victims of secret weapons used by their enemies. The industrial world, meanwhile, strengthened itself with steel. World powers growled at each other for new colonies in Africa and Asia. The threats became terrible warfare. As the 20th century drew closer, civilization prospered, but the people trembled in fear, and the clouds of a world war darkened the horizon.
In the midst of this turbulent world, an adventure was about to begin...
