Chapter Three

      Three: Hash brownies ?

My mum allowed me to go for Demi's party since she knew him and was good friends with his family. Although I had to be back by ten, but it was still worth leaving the house. The driver dropped me off in front of Demi's modernized mansion as I stood outside in my denim white shorts,Louis Vuitton slides and an oversized peach colored sweatshirt my swimsuit in my small tote bag.

I rang the doorbell, waiting a bit before a random maid opened the gate letting me in. I walked inside, already knowing my way around his house.
I've been here a couple of times.. and it hadn't changed much..

"Hey love." Demi said excitedly hugging me softly causing me to giggle loving how clean and nice he smelled.
"Hi Demi, am I late?" I asked redrawing from the hug..
"Nope, you're right on time. Everyone's right on the roof.." he answered causing me to look at him in surprise.
"The hot tub is on your roof?" I asked in surprise causing him to smile in mischief.

"Crazy right?" He answered
"I'd go for bonkers." I replied causing him to laugh..
"Just go upstairs love and make yourself comfortable. I'll be right up, need to grab the booze." He said nudging me up the stairs.
"Alright.."

I walked out of his bathroom wearing my favorite Fendi logo printed swimsuit, as I opened the door to the roof top only to find my friends and a couple of his chilling in the tub drinking and smoking weed, loud music playing in the background. I found Adeola seated on a stool as she seemed to be reading a novel making me laugh a bit.
Who reads at a party?

"Woohooo! Dang girl!" Alex cheered happily admiring me in my swimsuit causing me to blush in embarrassment.
She looked nice in a two piece red bikini, her auburn hair packed up in a loose bun.
"Alex c'mon.. you're making a scene.." I whispered
"But check out that arse! You're like a breathing walking goddess Wunmi.. I'm proud to be your best friend." She said sounding too excited to be here. I moved closer to her, noticing how low and heavy lidded her eyes looked.
Alex was high.

"Alex, are you high?" I asked already knowing the question.

"Very fucking high! Have you tried Demi's hash brownies?? Fucking amazing babe! Good stuff" she squealed happily laughing as she held my arms.

"You need to calm down babe, breathe.." I said in amusement making her giggle..

Demi immediately showed up, holding up different sorts of expensive alcohol as I wondered if anyone of us would be sober enough to go to school tomorrow.
I think we even had a geography test tomorrow.

"Wanker!" Alex insulted staring at Demi causing him to laugh at her current state.
"Back at you Alexandria" he answered

"It's Alex!" She screamed in frustration walking away from the both of us causing him to snort in amusement.

He honestly loved getting a rile from her.
"Brownie?" Demi offered with a sly smirk..
"No thank you, it's too early to get high.." I answered with a knowing smile..

"Oh c'mon love, it's never too early to get high.." he replied..
"Fine, but just one bite.." I said giving in causing him to give me a proud smile handing over one to me.
I took a small bite savoring the taste, enjoying the feel against my tongue..
"Hmm, really nice stuff"

"I know right.." he answered with a chuckle as he pulled off his shirt leaving him in swim shorts as he entered into the hot tub.

I could start to slowly feel the effects of the brownies floating unto my head causing me to feel really good.
"Deola" I called her grabbing her attention.
"Hey, are you okay?" She asked worriedly coming to stand next to me..
"Yeah I'm alright, a bit high but okay." I said giving her a thumbs up.
"Don't tell me you already had one of Demi's brownies?"she said giving me an incredulous look
"I might have had just a tiny bite" I answered with a sheepish smile..
"ah geez... alright, soo?" She said trying to give me signals.
