Seven: Can I draw you?
Wunmi💕
It was finally Friday and I couldn't wait to meet Dale. The last three days has been hell, I couldn't see or talk to my friends and I was unable to go to school because of how sick and stressed out I was. My parents didn't bother checking up on me and the only entertainment I had was by drawing in my sketchbook which I hid deep inside my wardrobes.Mr Callaghan did come the next day to continue with my violin lessons but I refused to take any more lessons from him. They couldn't force me and I already said I was done playing the violin or learning from that wanker. My parents dismissed him but made sure to pay him handsomely so he wouldn't go around blurting unruly things about our family.
Sometimes I wondered who my parents cared about more, me or their reputation—and we both know what the answer is..
I was sneaking out, no doubt about it. There was no way in bloody hell I wouldn't be able to see Dale. Picking out my black biker shorts, Nike trainers a white crop top and black bomber jacket—my outfit for the night was ready. Scrambling through my purses to check for any extra cash lying around since my parents confiscated my credit cards and car key, I had no choice but to take public transportation.
And I was freaking out seriously about it!
Wearing my fanny pack around my waist, I took the only necessity that I could currently afford. My lipgloss, a pencil, white A4 folded paper and a packet of gum. Thankfully I found three hundred pounds lying around in one of my Chanel purses. Making sure the blankets were tied strongly round my verandah barriers, I put on my face mask and my brothers base ball cap as I climbed over the barrier standing right on the pavement as I looked down..Take slow breaths Wunmi.. you've done this before, it's necessary you leave this place tonight.
Holding unto the blankets for my dear life and slowly climbing down until I landed safely on the ground. Dusting myself off, I ran quietly around the back of the mansion towards the servant quarters making sure I wasn't seen by anyone. Since I was locked up in my room, I had no chance to sneak out and steal the house keys—thus disabling me from going out through the gate. There was a small door out back and I prayed silently that it wasn't locked, because if not the plan of leaving would be of no use. Finally getting to the door, I pushed it slowly to see it was open. My lips curled upwards in a celebratory smirk as I walked out unto the paved road and immediately hailing down a taxi to take me to Bloomsbury park to see the weird blue eyed boy that made my heart jump.
I got out of the taxi walking into the park only to find out that it was empty.
Hadn't he arrived yet? Or did he forget?Sighing disappointedly, I sat on one of the swings playing with my fingers my head rested on the strong chain when I felt the presence of someone.
"Right on time, pumpkin"
Dale said walking towards me wearing a white hoodie and black joggers his brown hair falling bits into his lovely blue eyes. My eyes widened in anticipation and slight excitement as I stood up from the swings coming to stand right in front of him..
"Didn't think you'd come again" I said softly feeling a bit shy underneath his gaze.. He smirked playfully leaning in to kiss my ears the tingles giving me sparks.
"I wouldn't miss seeing you for the world.." dale whispered causing me to blush.."Me too.." I unknowingly said turning my eyes to meet his underneath the quiet night sky before he slowly redrew from me sitting on the sand as I watched him tap the side next to him. Immediately I joined him, not even waiting to hear what he had to say feeling giddy that he was seated so close to me as I bit my lip in excitement.
Right now.. I needed dale, he was my escape from my miserable life.
"So pumpkin, how was your week?"
"The worst." I answered with a groan.."I see.." he answered with a slight chuckle
"What about you?"
"My week was strange.." he answered with a shrug.
"I guess we both had a pretty long week.." I replied causing him to hum in agreement.
"What're your hobbies?" He asked curiously turning to look at me..
"I love to draw.. and I play the violin, well used to.."
