Chapter 2: Kawakami

(Y/n)'s POV

We were able to make it to the school that me and Akira will be at for now.  Sojiro looks at us before he tells us, "Do me a favor and behave yourself, all right?" Sojiro asks us.  I was going to say something to Sojiro from trying to make Akira feel bad anymore.  Sojiro starts talking to us, "Don't get me wrong--I don't care what happens to you two. Just don't cause me any trouble." Sojiro said to us.  Sojiro starts walking by himself, while I look at Akira before I decided to do something and grab Akira's hand before tightening it up before telling Akira, "I still got your back, even if someone judges you. I will always back you up." I said to Akira with a small smile on my face.  Akira looks at me before he gives me a smile as well, "Thank you, (Y/n). Also, even though we met yesterday. I am still happy that we met on the train station." Akira says to me with a smile on his face.

I looked at Akira with my face feeling warm from holding Akira's hold a little longer before I looked at Akira before telling him, "You're welcome, Akira." I said to Akira with a small smile on my face.  I removed my hand off of Akira's hand before we followed Sojiro into the school building.  Once we were inside of the building, we were looking for the principal's office and we were able to find the office and Sojiro does the talking and he signs a paper.  The principal looks at Akira before he tells him, "To reiterate, just so we're clear, you will immediately be expelled if you cause any problems." The principal said to Akira.  The principal wasn't done talking to Akira, "Honestly, I hesitated on accepting someone like you, but there were some circumstances on our side... You might have done a variety of things in hiding in your hometown, but you will behave yourself here. If you are thrown out from our school, there will be no place for you to go. Keep that in mind." The principal said to Akira.

The principal looks at the woman with short hair before he tells us, "This is the teacher in charge of your class." The principal said to us.  The woman looks at us before she tells us, "I'm Sadayo Kawakami. Here's your student IDs." Kawakami said to us.  Kawakami gives us our student IDs before me and Akira grab it, "Be sure to read the school rules. Any violations will send you two straight to the guidance office. And, if by chance you cause problems, I won't be able to protect you at all." Kawakami says to Akira.  Kawakami looks at the principal before asks him, "...That IS your promise, yes, Principal Kobayakawa?" Kawakami asks Kobayakawa.  Kobayakawa looks at Kawakami before he tells her, "He is responsible for all his actions." Kobayakawa says to Kawakami.

Kawakami looks upset at this before she tells Kobayakawa, "But really though, why me...? There should've been better candidates." Kawakami said to Kobayakawa.  I glance at Akira to see him look unfazed by it, but it still bugs me that they don't know his full story yet, even though Sojiro told me and Akira of what happened to Akira's past.  I didn't pay attention to the principal talking before Sojiro starts talking to the principal, "If you're done explaining things, mind if we get going? I got a store to get back to." Sojiro says to the principal.  I looked at the principal before I slowly raise my hand up a bit, "Yes, ms. (l/n)?" Kobayakawa asks me.  I lower my hand down before I asks him, "Is it okay that I wear the boy's uniform pants instead of wearing a skirt?" I ask Kobayakawa.  Kobayakawa looks at me before he tells me, "Well, we don't let any girls wearing any boy pants, but I am sorry, but you have to wear a skirt in this school." Kobayakawa said to me.

I just frown at this because I always hate wearing skirts because it makes me feel uneasy that I have to hide for every.  I just sigh at this before I looked down on the floor, "Sakura-san, please keep a close eye on him. Don't let him cause any trouble outside..." Kobayakawa said to Sojiro.  Sojiro scratches his head before he tells the principal, "Well, I'll be sure to have a serious talk about the situation he's in." Sojiro said to the principal.  Ms. Kawakami looks at us before she tells us, "Come to the faculty office when you arrive at school tomorrow. I'll show you two to your school." Ms. Kawakami said to us.  Me and Akira just nod our heads at her before we left the principal's office.
