4/20 Wednesday After School
(Y/n)'s POV
Me, Akira, and Morgana were inside of the clinic building to get medicine from the lady. Once she told me and Akira to go the room. Akira sat down on the chair, while I was sitting down on the bed. The lady whose name is Takemi starts to ask us, "...That 'medicine,' huh...?" The woman asks us. Takemi locks the door on us, me and Akira were in shock of this before she asks us, "So... which conversation of mine did you two eavesdrop on to hear that?" Takemi asks us. Me and Akira were confused at this before Takemi says to us, "It was obvious, actually. You two call that hiding? ...Not that I care, of course." Takemi said to us.
Takemi looks down on the floor before she tells us, "I was going to dispose of that medicine anyway. I got a little too carried away with it." Takemi said to us. Takemi looks at us before she asks us, "...But tell me; why would two high schoolers like yourselves be so interested in that medicine?" Takemi asks us. Me and Akira were sweat dropping from this because we couldn't even think about anything else to do or say anything to her, she looks at us before she tells us, "It's very strange, indeed. You two don't seem to be very athletic, so... ...What exactly are you two up to?" Takemi asks us.
Akira looks at Takemi before he tells her, "It's for my exams." Akira said to Takemi. I was sweat dropping from this before Takemi's face was in shock, "Exams...? Oh, your entrance exams for college?" Takemi asks Akira. Takemi leans her body on the door before she tells Akira, "So you're looking to improve your concentration and reduce fatigue? Hm, that's not the best idea. But if that's what you want to do..." Takemi said to Akira. Takemi unlocks the door before she walks away from the door, "Then good luck with that." Takemi said to us. Takemi looks at us before she asks us, "I have no obligation to help you two with that. Why don't you two have an energy drink or something?" Takemi asks us.
I looked at Takemi before I muttered out to her, "Can we please have that medicine?" I ask Takemi. Takemi just sighs at this before she looks at me before she tells me, "You're really annoying, you know that?" Takemi asks me. I just looked down on the floor from being called out from her. Takemi just tells me, "The medicine is really expensive. And it's not something for two high schoolers can get their hands on. It cost almost as much as a car. Got it? So how about you two just go home?" Takemi asks us. Akira looks at Takemi before he asks her, "Can we work for it?" Akira asks Takemi.
Takemi looks at her clipboard before she asks Akira, "What, like part-time help...?" Takemi asks us. Takemi kept talking to us, "...Do you two consider yourselves someone with a good amount of stamina?" Takemi asks us. Me and Akira were confused at this before Takemi tells us, "I admit I have been looking for a young person around your ages to help me out. But I haven't been able to find one, even after putting an ad in the paper." Takemi said to us. Takemi looks at us before she asks us, "...Are you two up for it?" Takemi asks us. Me and Akira look at each other before I asks her, "What would we be doing?" I asks Takemi.
Takemi looks at me with a little pissed off look on her face before she asks me and Akira, "Do you two want to do it or not?" Takemi asks us. Me and Akira sweat drop from this before we nod our heads towards her before she tells us, "OK then. You'll two be participating in clinical trails for my medicine." Takemi said to us. This brought me and Akira's heads up before Takemi tells us, "Hang on. I'll be right back." Takemi said to us.
Takemi gives us some kind of medicine drink in the glass cups before she tells us, "Here you two go." Takemi said to us. Me and Akira glance at each other before we sweat drop again before Takemi tells us, "...Worried about the side effects, huh? Well, you two can relax. Rest assured, my autopsy is guaranteed to find out exactly what part of it killed you two." Takemi says to us. This brought me and Akira to look at Takemi with shock looks on our faces before Takemi looks at us before she asks us, "What, aren't you two going to take it? The exit's right there if you two want to leave." Takemi said to us. We looked at our cups, I noticed Akira was still hesitant about it. I took a deep breath before I drink the medicine in my cup.
