~A Few Chapters Ago~ Alistair Wonderland 2 ~

Chapter 4 - Grade 8

The school came closer and closer as Alistair tried to escape the awkward situation with Courtly. He saw many new faces that he hadn't seen before, and suddenly, he felt uncomfortable. All of his previous, non-human classmates were looking up at him in shock.

"Hey Alistair! Did you take some growth pills on your vacation?" the fish-like student joked.

Other students laughed along with him, and Alistair sped up his steps toward the school. The tall and unusually shaped school towered over the stampede of students that were entering it, all trying to get to class and meet up with their friends. 

"Alistair!" A few voices shouted abruptly. Maddie, Lizzie, Kitty and Bunny raced toward Alistair with smiles on their faces.

Questions like, how was your trip? and, did you see anything exciting? were being thrown at Alistair while he was bombarded with hugs. 

"Did you bring us any presents? I mean, did you have fun?" Kitty said shamelessly, until Lizzie gave her a look of disapproval.

To Alistair's suprise, they didn't treat him any differently. They barely even noticed the way he had changed, other than when Kitty mumbled, "When is my growth spurt gonna kick in," which earned her a light-hearted laugh from Alistair.

"First day of 8th grade, Can you believe it!" Alistair exclaimed with a new spring in his step. 

They picked up a jumbo paint brush, the bristles covered in blue and white paint. As the brush glided across the wall, a door appeared. Before they could continue, Bunny had a sudden thought. 

"I wonder who the new food 101 teacher is going to be"

"Yeah, it probably wasn't the best idea to get Ms. Doodaloo fired," Kitty shrugged.

"I'm sure the new teacher will favour you," A raspy voice said from behind them.

They all turned to find the most awkward boy they had ever seen. He had greasy, shoulder-length, magenta hair. His plump body stood with an odd posture that replicated a constipated supermodel. He wore a black leather jacket that seemed to be a few sizes too small, and had blue jeans that clashed against his lavender skin.

Kitty's eyes widened, and then her expression turned to rage.

"Dennis."
