~A Few Chapters Ago~ Alistair Wonderland 2 ~

Chapter 8 - Grade 8

The shark swam at lightning speed, as Alistair went to collect all his friends. First he grabbed Bunny and Courtly (she had grabbed Bunny's foot in hopes of using her as a personal shield or floatation device). Then, he sped toward Lizzie, knowing she would be the most upset about this. Alistair looked around for the rest of his friends, but he looked up to find that Kitty had poofed  onto someone else's shark, and Maddie had been playing tag with sharks at the surface. 

Alistair sighed with relief and began rescueing other students. When he arrived at the top, everyone looked at him in admiration, except Professor Barbeau, who was giving Alistair a death glare. 

Just then, the bell sounded, and the wave of water took back all the sharks and left the students back on the ground. They all grabbed their stuff, while also trying to dry themselves off. Lizzie was balling her eyes out while complaining about how her hair and dress were ruined. She snapped her fingers and a frog man appeared, and he began to quickly dry everyone off. 

"What do we have next?" Maddie asked sadly, as she never got to continue her game of tag.

"Food 101, and then lunch," said Bunny, as they walked into an orange wall that led them into the food 101 classroom.  

They took seats at the two person tables, which had ovens, microwaves, and small cupboards. They looked up to see Dennis trying to get his life jacket off, smirking so evilly that Alistair once again got the bad feeling in his stomach. How many times is this going to happen?  He thought. 

Dennis waddled past Alistair, and took a seat next to a completely careless Lizzie. That was one thing Alistair liked about her, she might be very dramatic when something gets in her way, but she never lets someone get the best of her. As Alistair was thinking about how lucky he was to have his friends, the reason for his bad feeling was once again revealed when their new teacher walked into the classroom.
