there was no way in hell mike could do that. simply no way. maybe he didn't hear him correctly ? maybe this was all in his head.

he looked around lowkey praying that his best friend would make a sudden appearance and help him out of this bullshit. sadly for him, he was already long gone. he made the right choice of escaping this shit game.

since he wasn't there, he most likely was dancing his head off somewhere in the mansion.

mike's attention shifted towards the tall man in front of him wearing a sport jacket, trying to decipher any signs of him joking. honestly, deep down he knew he was dead serious.

"don't be a pussy wheeler. it's such an eaaaaasy dare." let out the infamous austin miller with a verny ominous smile. his state of mind clearly wasn't his normal one. even tho his considered 'normal' one wasn't far from the asshole he always was.

except this time, the bottle of vodka he was barely holding with his left hand showed that he wasn't 100% present.

the loud music echoed in mike's head. he winced for a millisecond as he tried to keep his posture, doing his best to not show any sign of weakness. dolefully for him, it felt the same as if someone decided to hit a nail right into his head with a fucking hammer. with hulk force.

he had to thanks  the 10 shots of straight vodka he had to swallow 2 minutes prior to that dare.  maybe it was a bad idea indeed... it clearly was. but there was simply no way of backing away. mike wheeler of all people ? never ever would he dare to put his pride aside. n e v e r.

if it meant for him to keep his reputation intact then he was willing to do anything.

he shook his head , praying deeply that whoever was looking after him would not make him make an embarrassment out of himself.

austin began pacing around in the room , hitting the bottle of vodka with his nail just to imitate the sound of a clock. his goal clearly was to put pressure on the tall black haired man. and it was working.

impatience could easily be read on austin's face as he rolled his eyes several times and let out big sighs to make sure it was known that he was waiting after the curly haired boy.

mike didn't waste any more seconds to answer since he didn't feel like the need of digging his own grave right now.

"nah man fuck off. you know i'm no pussy. just didn't hear you the first time , say it again."

a loud noise got out of austin mouth and he bursted out laughing. he came dangerously close to mike and put his hand on his shoulder in a sharp movement that caused the man to jump a little at the sudden act.

"i said. i dare you to convince that weird ass theatre girl to go out with you. for more than 3 months." his fierce eyes were implanted in mike's face. a smirk then creeped on his face and everyone around them started laughing loudly, as if their life would depend on it if they didn't.

mike on his part didn't feel like laughing would help himself at all. the look austin gave him made his entire body shiver, causing him a little spasm in his body. luckily for him it only looked like he simply was cold and not scared of the man facing him.

droplets of sweats began to casually form on his forehead.

to calm himself down he grabbed a can of beer near. then he didnt lose anytime to chug the entirety of it.

funny thing is that he absolutely despised the taste of alcohol. it made him wanting to throw up only by it scent. he hated it that much.

tonight was different tho, tonight that deadly liquid gave him strength.
