CHAPTER 25: This Is My new Life

I couldn't help but feel sick to my stomach after seeing the photos I saw for some of the things Wilder has done to people - it's inhumane.

I learned very quickly how he got to be who he is now and the rank he is in.

I didn't honestly want to think about any of that so for the next few days, I stayed busy helping out Angelyne and Lyna still with some stuff and had sent in a few ideas I had just finished up drawing out and sent them off to Charlie.

Then today while hanging out at Angelyne and Lyna's house all by myself, I started to feel myself getting bored and decided to go out for a walk. I need the exercise anyways.

So I headed out walking up and down the street a few times while listening to music and then noticed out the corner of my eye, in the distance, there was a guy sitting on his bike who I couldn't tell distinct features of, so I couldn't necessarily identify the person but I got creeped out as he sat there staring at me.

Even though he was wearing sunglasses, I knew he was looking at me. Then that's when I began heading back towards the house.

While walking back, I had this inkling that I was still being watched and looked over my shoulder as I continued to walk and saw that the guy was slowly riding at good distance behind me but still, slowly riding down this rode.

I then tried not to panic and immediately began to call Cyran but he didn't answer. So I hurried to try and text him and after sending the message, I quickly had gotten an idea to not let him see where I was staying at and ended up walking past the house.

Luckily I knew coming up in just a few feet was a spot I could duck into and get out of sight from to lose the guy. Though as soon as I got closer to the spot, I stopped abruptly and started to panic the moment I saw that Zanders guy again.

He was waiting for me it looked like as he too sat on a bike, casually looking at me and smoking a cigarette.

What the hell is happening here?! Oh my god, am I going to get kidnapped? What do I do? What the hell do I do?

Thank God I didn't have to worry long as a neighbor quickly came home and pulled right into the driveway to the left of me.

That's when I noticed the two biker's leave. Zanders peeled out down the road and so did the guy behind me.

I quickly began to breathe and almost let out a cry.

"Are you alright, Ms.?" The nice neighbor asked me.

"Yes. Thank you." I assured her with a smile. Although she has no idea how truly thankful I really am for her showing up.

I then hurried back inside the house and locked the door behind me while I sat on the couch with my knees to my chest and for some reason began to cry while at the same time trying to calm myself down and stop shaking.

That was terrifying for me. I've never had that happen to me before and am hoping that they aren't associated with Wilder or anything.

Nearly an hour later though, things seemed to be better to where I could relax a bit more as I seemed to have calmed down and then saw Cyran quickly pull up and come into the house.

"Bellatrix?!" He called out my name.

I stood up and he turned to look at me and all I felt myself doing was running up to him and holding onto him tightly.

"Baby." He says as he holds me and gives me a kiss.

"I'm sorry. I was so scared." I cried.

"Shh...It's okay. I'm here now. Tell me what happened." He says.

We walked towards the couch to sit down and I told him about how it all started with me just going for a simple walk up and down the street.

I noticed also that while telling him everything, he was holding in anger.

"I-I just didn't know what to do. I know you said to not call the police and to just always call you but, when you didn't answer, I...." I was still feeling a bit shaken up a little.

"It's okay. I'm not gonna let anything ever happen to you." He promises.

He pulls me in tightly again into his arms and we sit there for a while longer holding one another.

Eventually after we have talked things over for a bit and I have calmed down for sure this time, he suggested a few things and started calling up the guys to meet him at the clubhouse and that they were going to have a meeting.

Now as much as I appreciated his ideas, I didn't want to become a burden to anybody or make people think I needed to be babysat but he told me that it's not like that and to think of it as protection and I'm going to be having bodyguards.

It was really touching and nice to hear the guys all be for having someone be with me always to make sure I am protected and okay whenever Cyran can't be with me.

I knew times like this would happen but never did I think it could have happened so quickly as it has. And I know things are only going to escalate from here on out. I'm
