CYRAN

After waking up this morning after last night's party and the scare that Trix had from Zanders, I knew not only would she be asking me about him but would also I needed to have my guys find him and bring him back here.

He knows better than to come around here. Now that he had scared my old lady though, there is no way I'm going to let it slide.

My guys did a search around the entire town and it took all day but kept calling to tell me that even people they asked had seen Zanders, they kept mentioning they each saw him head off onto the freeway.

One person at the gas station stated he was told that he was headed out West.

Throughout the day I tried not to think about it and instead focus on other important immediate matters.

Firstly, I knew I had to talk to Trix and explain Zanders, or I should actually say more like warn her about him.

So as she sat down in the office, opposite of me, I began to explain.

"I'm not going to dwell on talking about Zanders but I feel I should warn you about him." I began. "You see, he's an ex-member. Within a year of us starting up this club, he had joined. He was cool at first. We all got along with him and he even showed some potential in possibly moving up in the ranks here. Nearly next to Gary's position. But then one day I was informed that he was dealing with some people I don't care to do business with. When I confronted him about it and warned him to stop, he continued doing shit behind my back. He nearly got us put away and even killed at one point." I stopped myself for a moment before continuing.

"There are things that he has done ever since I threw him out. For a while now he has seemed to have become more unstable -mentally. He's been doing things that I'd rather not tell you. But take my word when I say that if you ever see him again, I matter where, you either come and get me or whoever is with you." I finished.

She seemed to be fearful and I began to worry a bit because it reminded me of how new she is to this life I live and may want to not be a part of it all.

She remained silent for a while and seemed to be contemplating in her head but then she took in a deep breath then let it out before replying.

"Wow. Uhm, so, can I ask you something?" She asks me.

"Of course." I smiled nervously.

"Now I want you to be honest and not leave anything out. But, what type of projects or business do you do exactly? Are they anything like they were before? Back when we dated years ago?" She asks me with again, worry in her eyes and in her voice as well.

"Honestly, for the most part, no. I don't do a lot of what the others did years ago. I have opened a few strip clubs and bars both right outside of town as well as in many other states. Extortion is another thing we are a part of. We also deal in gun running. We make a lot of our money as well at our yearly rallies. Not to mention each member here has to pay a fee every month." I came right out and said, more easily than I had expected.

She became quiet again before saying anything.

"So you hurt people?" She hesitated in asking.

"Only if necessary. But mind you, they are far worse people than we are. Not that I am stating we are great people or 'saints' even, but compared to what others do, we are better in comparison and less sick and twisted in our ways." I finish explaining.

"Wow." She says under her breath.

"I know this is a lot to take in but, things are what they are." I tell her.

"I guess there's a lot more I have to learn about this lifestyle and such." She says.

I could tell she seemed more uncertain right now and even though I don't blame her for how she is reacting right now, I don't know what she will think after she thinks hard about what I've told her.

I could have gone into further details about everything but I figured just giving her the information I just did would be enough for her to think about and if she had any further questions about it she could always ask. For now though, I think that's enough.

"Okay." She says. "Well, I guess I can wait to see where this will go."

That made me feel a bit relieved to hear her say that but hopefully she will get used to this life with me and she can stay with me for the long run.

"Thank you for choosing to stick around." I smiled in reply then got up and walked over towards her.

She stood up and put her arms around me as I did with her and pulled her in close to start kissing her. We stood there for the next few minutes making out and getting heated but before we could continue, we were interrupted by Atlas.

"Seriously?!" I snapped at him.

"Hey!" Trix fired back at me and slapped my arm. "Don't be rude."

"Oh shush." I tell her.

"Sorry boss but we need to get going over to that new place." He reminds me.

I almost forgot about the new building I just purchased last week for a nother club house that was located just on the outskirts of this town here.

"I'll be right back then we'll go out tonight." I promise Trix.

"Okay." She smiled in reply then kissed me.
"Be careful."

"Always." I smiled back at her.
