BELLATRIX
I couldn't believe we were going on a trip to Rome. One of the many places I wanted to go and see on my bucket list.
Maybe it was because I didn't feel too comfortable around Scott or something along those lines. I guess since I'll be around Cyran mostly and such, it won't be so bad.
The past few days had gone by so fast and soon enough, the time had come when we headed off towards Rome.
I have never been on a private plane before and I have to say that I felt like we were famous or something.
The plane held up to 14 passengers and they considered as a stand up cabin that allow you to move more freely throughout the cabin with heights above six feet. Amenities such as an expansive galley with liberal work surface space, broiler, microwave, sink, drainable ice cabinet, and accessible chilled storage. This was was leaving me speechless.
The flight was going to be long (about 13 hours) and I can tell we wouldn't have a problem with that.
We all had grabbed ourselves a drink and cheersed to having a good time together while there.
While on our way, I was showing a few local spots Angelyne, Lyna and I had found of places to go and see. I especially couldn't wait to see the Colosseum. Both Cyran and I were the most excited about seeing that. Along with of course the guys.
Cyran promised me that we would spend good time together, between all of us and alone time. He mentioned that there would only be one or two meetings with Scott.
I try ignoring the shivers that just went up and down my spine after hearing him say that. Mainly because I've decided not to give any thought to it not being only is on the airplane that will be there.
We all had fallen asleep within a several hours after taking off and by the time we had woken up, we were getting ready to land.
We were excited to land and the moment we did then walked off, my excitement became even harder to keep in any longer.
We noticed there were two big limos that awaited us near the plane and the drivers from each had gotten out to open the doors before placing our bags from the plane into the trunks.
While on our way towards Scott's home, I was looking at the beautiful scenery.
You could tell by the architecture on all the buildings we were passing by, that it was so strong and according to the driver, he mentioned with what was used and engineered in those days, is why the buildings have been able to withstand through the test of time. The only thing that you could tell the age on some of them was the paint chipping away.
The roads were cobbled, there were a lot of people. In which the driver commented that it's always crowded between tourists and the locals.
The driver began giving us more information and telling us about the gladiators and I began to feel even more excited about where we were.
Once pulled up in front of two cast iron gates, the driver stated his name and the guard there nodded and opened the gates.
I have never been anywhere that looked this fancy. Although I quickly learned after being let in that it was nothing compared to the big mansion we pulled up at.
You could tell also this has definitely been here for centuries.
Something about a building withstanding so much yet it still stands and holds memories and history. Something about knowing those things about a place, I don't know, it kind of makes me appreciate it even more. Almost like it brings new meaning and life to it, in a way.
After pulling up, we were greeted right away with who looked like a butler, come walking out the double doors in the front and walks up to greet us.
A few other guys come walking out behind him to take our bags inside the house then we all begin walking inside. Only, we weren't necessarily 'inside' the house. It was more like a patio area that stretched out almost the size of a football field.
The center of the building was opened - there was no roof or covering to block out either the sun or the rain.
Then there was a second story where it looked to be at where all the rooms were located at and some doors were downstairs as well.
We were told to wait in the center area of the place near the swimming pool in the center.
"This place is amazing!" I commented.
"Yeah. It is." Cyran stated.
A moment after we sat to wait, Scott comes walking out towards us.
"Welcome!" He greets us with a smile and there are a few guys he has follow him.
He never had guys with him before. In fact, I didn't take him as someone who would ever have that, since he seems to act as though he is tougher than any other guy.
After he says 'hi' to us and gives us a tour around the place then shows us our rooms, he asks if we were hungry. I personally haven't eaten since last night, so I was starving.
As if I wasn't already impressed by the size and decor of this entire place, I was even more impressed with the dining room we just followed Scott into to eat.
The room felt like you stepped back into time, between the huge mural on the ceiling that Scott mentions he had someone paint when moved in.
There were also items displayed on tables in which Scott also told us the history with them and how much they cost him.
That was something else about him I didn't care for. He flaunted his wealth. Not that there's anything wrong with that. However, when you add cockiness and show off because it strokes your ego as nd you mainly want to rub it into people's faces, well, to me, that's when I feel myself get a little disgusted.
I had to take in a couple of deep breaths while I sat down next to Cyran so that I could calm myself and be sure to remind myself that I can't let Scott effect me in such a manner.
Every thought I was thinking, suddenly went away as I saw several maids enter the room and set down many food dishes that I felt were made for royalty.
Next chapter will be posted (seconds after this one) :)
