7. Feelings?

It's been a few days in new york and it's been the best few days of my life. I've had so much fun with everyone but I'm starting to get homesick and miss max. he's my twin and i haven't seen him in days. the longest i've been away from him is 3 days.

that's so weird. he always answers me. oh well. i try not to read too much into it he's probably just busy.

"Roni you can not seriously tell me you think kit has no feelings for you" yaz says. "honestly you should talk to him, i mean you like him don't you?" rhea chimes in. "I mean you know i do...but if he doesn't like me it could ruin everything. Besides i've only known him for a few weeks so it could be too soon." yaz sighs and says "talk to him".

We all agreed to just chill out today since we've been non stop doing stuff for days. We were all in our separate rooms hanging out with our roommates so i text Kit.

I tell yaz I'm heading out and planning to tell kit about my feelings and of course she's ecstatic about it. I grab my things and make my way to the lobby. As i walk up i see kit talking to some girl i don't recognize. She's pretty.

I decide to stay back for a few minutes so they can continue their conversation and i don't interrupt. I see them saying their goodbyes so i start walking up when Kit hugs her and gives her a kiss on the cheek. I stop. I know i shouldn't be upset because what if it's a friend. Or more than one.

"Hey". "Hey, ron" he smiles. "Where were you thinking of going to eat?" "Oh i was thinking sonic.. i know you don't have it in the uk and it's so good, besides i really want a shake"
"sounds good from what i can tell, let's go" 

We get an uber and get there pretty quick. "What are you thinking of getting? i don't really know what they have here so i might get what you get" kit says looking down at me. "i'm getting a chicken tender meal and an oreo cookie dough blast so please feel free to order something else if that doesn't sound good" "that sounds perfect except...what's a blast" he asked clearly very confused. I laugh at him.

We sit down with our food and talk for a while. We were laughing, making jokes, and even talking about some honest heart to heart stuff but i couldn't tell him how i felt. everything with him right now in this moment was so perfect but i couldn't tell him i liked him after seeing him with that girl. i figured maybe i should ask him about her.

"Hey so earlier when i walked up you were talking to someone...i was just curious who that was..." "oh yes that's sof, she's my best friend and actually ended up coming here for a show with a few of her friends so she came to see me for a bit" "oh" i say sadly and quickly realize my tone "thats nice, i'm sorry if i caused her to leave, you could've told me you were busy." "no roni it's okay, she couldn't stay for long and was leaving anyway besides" he pauses looking at me. We stare for way too long and we both notice but don't dare to look away. "besides?" i finally say. "i wanted to see you, just you...i mean i love our friends but i wanted some one on one time with you and this has been so fun". "it really has" i smile.
