A Second Chance (bnhaxfairytailxDMC)

P6-Big job

It had been a month since Carla was born, izuku was surprised when Carla could already speak perfect (insert language) already as it would take a normal human baby a year to even spurt out a word. He would get along with Carla treating her like he was his little sister as Carla would see him as a big brother. During this month izuku would've resumed his training with Wendy along with taking her on jobs, though it was always just hunting jobs for the village. Today izuku was about to complain to roubal about it as he headed to the guild hall.

He went inside as he saw roubal in his usual spot drinking wine as izuku stepped infront of him, he took a deep breath

"Gramps! I demand a harder job!" Izuku looked intensely at roubal

Roubal blinked as he gave his answer

"Sure! here" roubal handed izuku the job poster as izuku was dumbfounded

"Wait... Your just gonna give it to me that easily?" Izuku asked roubal confused

"Hmm? Of course. Your a growing boy who needs to learn about the world and go to new places. Also the council forced our guild to take this job so my hands are tied" roubal quietly said the last part as he drank his wine

"I see, but if the council directly gave this job to our guild then it must be important"

"It is" roubal said as he took another sip

"The job they gave us involves us teaming up with another guild in fiore"

"Which guild?" izuku asked curious

"Fairytail" roubal responded

Fairytail... All izuku knew about them was that they were one of the oldest and biggest guilds in all of fiore, but he still wondered why the council asked them to team up with a guild like fairytail

"Gramps can I ask why our guild was chosen amongst all others?"

"Simple, the magic council knows your a devil slayer, and the job their sending you on is to exterminate some devil's" roubal responded

"I thought devil's were to be trapped in underworld?"

"They are, but through rituals and dark magic wizards are able to some devil's in to the human realm" Izuku nodded he made a mental note

"So your saying if I wanted to I could summon a devil" izuku asked

"No, summoning a devil requires a sacrifice, the stronger the devil the bigger the sacrifice, so if your willing to kill some random person off the street I suggest not"

"Oh..." izuku felt bad for asking that question as he changed the topic

"Do I need to take Wendy and carla with me?" Izuku asked

"No, the council specifically requested you so only you are allowed to go" izuku nodded as he looked at the job

"Kill a couple of devil's around clover town, reward is over five hundred thousand JEWELS!?" Izuku yelled

"Oh yes, the same goes for the person your working with" roubal said

"Now get going, they ain't gonna wait for you all day" roubal said as he teleported both of them to the village gate

Wendy and carla saw that izuku was at the gate as they asked why he was going. They wanted to come with him but roubal explained it was a job specifically for him so they couldn't go but izuku reassured them that they would go on the next job together. Izuku waved goodbye as he headed to the next town's train station in order to travel to clover town

Train station-
After a hour or so of walking izuku had made it to the nearby town's train station. He was greeted by some of the lacrima miners at the town as they bought him some food for the road as thanks for clearing the mining deposit. He got on the train as he waited until the train had gone to his destination.
