Vergil was on the second floor of the guild hall looking for any interesting S-class quests to do.

"Can't decide what quest to do vergil?" A familiar voice said to him as he turned back to see a tall man with blond hair who had a lightning bolt scar on his eye.

"Laxus. You're back I see" Vergil said turning his attention back to the board.

Laxus hummed.

"I heard you were named as a wizard equal to the saints along with some nobody" laxus said as Vergil replied.

"That nobody is just as strong as you laxus" he sighed disappointed as there were no interesting quests.

He went to laxus as he sat down at the free chair opposite of him.

"Really? And what guild is this wizard in?" Laxus asked curiously.

"Sorry but master told me to not reveal his identity" Vergil told him

"Not even for a friend?" Laxus asked with a smile as Vergil sighed.

"Cait shelter. That's all" Vergil said as laxus smirked nodding.

"Anyways how's you're relationship with Mira going. Good I hope" laxus asked as Vergil nodded.

"The Strauss family is moving into my house" Vergil told him.

"Already at that stage huh? Anyways have you thought about my offer?" Laxus asked hoping he would accept.

"The thunder legion is strong enough as it is And if enter it would just throw off the teams balance." Vergil said making laxus frown.

"Then you're against me?" Laxus asked. Vergil shook his head as he said.

"I'm with you laxus. Just not right now. I've got too much to deal with already" he said making laxus frown even more.

"Is it the council? Have you asked the guild to tone down the damage!" Said laxus as Vergil shook his head.

"Especially after the lullaby incident the council has been running me dry. I can't remember the last time I had a proper nights rest and every time I come back from a council mission master keeps giving me this look. It drives me insane." Vergil said rubbing his eyes.

"Then why not tell gramps or the guild?" Laxus asked.

"I Can't. If they knew it would drastically hinder our performance And worse they'll feel horrible. You do remember you're dream don't you?" Vergil said as laxus saddened

"I wish I Never told you if it meant you not having to work this hard" he said as he slammed his hand on to the table.

"Hey you're also my best friend and it's my job to help you achieve you're dream" Vergil said as he heard Mira calling him as he excused himself and went downstairs.

"But what about you're dream?" Laxus said quietly wanting to help his friend.

Vergil POV-
Vergil went down the stairs to see Mira waiting for him as he saw master Yajima at the bar.

"Mira did you need something?" Asked Vergil as she nodded pointing to master Yajima.

Vergil went over to master Yajima. He gestured for him to sit down as he spoke.

"Did you need something master Yajima?" He asked as Makarov spoke.

"Yes just wanted to deliver you're reward for the last job" Yajima explained as Vergil nodded. Yajima saw the bags under vergil's eyes as he asked.

"You should really ask Macky (Makarov) and the other fairytail mage's to calm down. After all of them are just making things harder for you." Yajima said concerned about vergil's mental health.
