As we pulled up to the fair, the smell of cotton candy and popcorn filled the air. I stepped out of the car, as Tori told me she had a surprise. "Look to your left. I spun to look at the truck parked two spaces over. Leaning up against it was my other childhood best friend, Tori's now boyfriend, and some of his other friends. I ran to him and hugged him as he picked me up and swung me around. "I missed you Asher!!!" I squealed. After a moment of catching up, all of us began walking into the fair grounds.

Asher was tall with blue eyes, with a beautiful dark skin tone, just like Tori's. His friends, Finn, a short skinny boy, with messy long hair, and Hunter, a tan boy with a buzzed haircut, walked ahead with Audrey, and Delilah. Leaving me and Asher to walk alone, Tori quickly catching up to us. The three of us joined hands as we walked into our childhood favorite place.

"So what do we wanna do first blondie" Audrey said too Delilah. Great. She has a pet name. "What about the ride over there?" She responded.
"I'm in hottie! Let's get some girl on girl action!" Hunter said. He was definitely gross. We all stood in line as Hunter began to make out with the single rider next to us, Tori and Asher got all mushy too, hugging and calling each other pet names.

Me , Finn, Delilah, and Audrey stood awkwardly. Finn starting talking trying to make us all feel less awkward. "So Evie you single?" He asked. Fuck he's really gonna ask me this right now seriously. "Nope" I said, looking down at my feet and wiggling my toes inside my shoes, shifting them up and down, causing a tapping sound on the ground. "Good to know" he said winking. "Would you like to go out some time?" He looked me up and down while saying. I opened my mouth to answer but I get interrupted my the girl Hunter was making out with falling on me.

"Watch it cunt" the girl hissed. "Excuse you" Audrey said, helping me up. The girls red lipstick was smudged, as she fixed it, she stood up. "Bite me hoe" she girl said. "Hallee" Hunter said grabbing her arm. She rolled her eyes and turned back around. Delilah took Audrey's hand. "She's not worth protecting babe" she said. Audrey's eyes changed, but I couldn't tell why. She spun sideways to face Delilah "what the hell does that mean" Delilah's face softened. But I knew it was a form of manipulation. "Auds you know what I-"
"Actually no! I don't know what you mean! She's worth protecting Delilah." Audrey yelled. "Oh wow" she said, they facing separate ways.

"Next!" The man loading people onto the ride said. Audrey grabbed my hand, and before I could say anything she walked us over to the first 2 seater cart. I climbed in and Audrey sat next to me. My heart began to race as we sat there still holding hands.
