Zuri POV:

Mark pulls out his gun and aims it at Hunter. Rushing in front of Hunter I block him from Mark's aim

"Mark please" I plead with him and he scoffs

"How many fucking times do you have to betray me" he hisses

"How many fucking times Zuri" he yells and I shake at how harsh his voice is

"Grab a chair and sit we are talking now," Mark says. One of the men with their guns pointed at us grabs a chair placing it next to me. They also give him a chair and he sits down looking at me and nothing else in the room

They grab Hunter pulling him back. He tries to thrust out of their grips but it's no use were outnumbered and we both know it

"Let's start and I want nothing but the truth," Mark says glaring at me and I sigh nodding

"I want to hear you say it" he yells

"I'll tell the truth," I say talking through the tightens of my throat 

"What is your name," he asked

"Zuri Zulu," I say to him and he shakes his head disappointed. If there's one thing I didn't lie about was my name there was no need too 

"What exactly was your mission Zuri," he asked and I looked away not wanting to look him in the eyes when I say it

"To save Jody" I lie

"Zuri don't fucking lie to me," he yells standing up and kicking his chair away

"Extract Hunter from Sector 8" I say looking him in the eyes suddenly getting my confidence back

"Oh," he says with sarcastic shock his on face

"And the kids," he asked. Looking away I don't answer him

"I want to hear you fucking say it Zuri. Look me in my fucking eyes and say it" he yells walking toward me

"Their Hunter's," I say sounding defeated. A sinister chuckle came from him 

"So you made me believe they were mine," he says with hurt in his eyes but his body language looks pissed and agitated

"I had to" I mumbled loud enough for him to hear me. I have to save my kids whether he understands or not

"Zuri who the fuck are you and tell me the damn truth," he asked and I turned to Hunter looking at him apologetically

"I'm still the same girl Mark it's just the organization hired me to kill you, Jamal and Amir but once the French Mafia found out I was on this mission they also hired me to extract someone from sector 8"I say turning to Hunter and he frowns looking confused. I haven't spoken a word of this to anyone but it's no use keeping it to myself both men deserve to know

"The time I spent with you Mark I loved you I really did no doubt about it but when I met Hunter that day in the kitchen I- well I felt this feeling I didn't quite feel with you and I'm sorry. Things happened. Later on, I found out I was pregnant before Mahida and James kidnapped me. I didn't know if it was yours or not. After we had our fight in your hospital room I left for Greece. Months later I'm in a restaurant and I'm in labor. I freaked out and I went to the back of the restaurant that wasn't a lie okay. A lady came by and she helped me give birth she told me it wasn't safe for me to do it at a hospital because well I wouldn't walk out of that hospital with the twins in my hands because then they will be property of the French. And as their mother, I won't allow them to be taken away from me" I say clenching my fists

"I later found out that woman was Hunter's mom. Emerald didn't want me to say anything to Hunter until we reached France. She's the one who hired me to extract Hunter and she's been looking after the kids ever since she found out they were his. Mark what we had wasn't fake that's why I gave Sophie her name okay. Sophie temporally has blue eyes the doctor said she'll grow out of them. I didn't mean to hurt you I tried staying away from you as best as I could but you kept falling and I didn't know how to let you down gently as well I wasn't allowed to break us up until the mission was over. The Alex story I told you was just simply something I cooked up but I didn't know he also had his own personal gain. Emerald had her cousin Mr. Grazia get in contact with you so that it would be easy for me to come back to sector 8. Obviously men are men and well I had to pose as one of his strippers. He for one took it far but I can't break character. The organization, Mr. Grazia, Emerald it's all been a chess board and I happened to be they're pawn piece . The mission won't be over until Hunter goes back to France and takes over his mafia cause if I won't do it they will find someone to take over my position." I say looking at both men who look at me with shocked expressions
