"So that's how your father and I met," I say standing up and collecting the plates around the table. Taking Mark's plate he thanks me and plants a kiss on my wrist
"So mom you want me to go into class and tell my teacher as well as my classmates that you were on a mission for 6 days in which you had to kill three guys which one happened to be dad and then a piece of information that you fucked dad which I didn't need to know. Only for you to screw dad over again 5 years later pretending ya'll had kids together when in fact you had another man's kids not to mention you were married to that man. My big sister and big brother died in a tragic car accident which led you to be paralyzed/depressed for a couple of months but 1 year later you had me and you could somewhat walk again. Now yall are happily married" Trinity asked stunned maybe I shouldn't have told her the whole story.
Mark chuckled and I awkwardly placed the plates into the dishwasher. I still feel bad for what I did but after 16 years of marriage Mark constantly reassured me that he forgives me but I know I still have a lot of groveling to do
"Trinity your mom was a liar, a cheat, a condescen-" Mark starts but I cut him off
"Hey" I scowl and he chuckles
"What I'm trying to say is I loved her and that's all that matters," he winks at me and I roll my eyes
"Okay yes but I'm not telling my classmates that" Trin crosses her arms and leans back into her chair with an unimpressed look on her face
"I would, the story is cool" Ramiro grins looking up from his Nintendo switch at me
"Obviously your just a kiss ass," Trinity says throwing a roll of bread at Ramiro making him almost get up and throw his glass of water at her but I give him a look
"You're so lucky mom's here," He says huffing and I chuckle
"Okay well, Trin if you don't want to tell them that story you can tell them that your mom and dad met at the airport fell in love together despite the obstacles, and had you," I say walking over to Mark placing my arms around his neck. Planting a kiss on his head he smiles looking up at me
"It's a 3-minute oral" Trinity protests and I chuckle
"And I told that story in a 1 hour" I smile at her and she exhales loudly
"Okay fine I'll see what I can do," she says getting up
"I love you, hun," I say blowing a kiss at her
"I love you too, mom," she says as she turns the corner
"It's time for bed,"I say taking his Nintendo switch out of his sight
"Oh come on Trinity always gets to stay up late" he protests
"Well that's because she's 16 and your 12," I said ruffling his hair and placing a kiss on his forehead
"I thought age was just a number" he cocks his eye at me
"Don't be cheeky with me mister", he sighs getting up
"I Love ya," I say to him
"Yeah yeah," he says turning the corner and I look back at Mark
"Come here," he says patting his lap. Sighing I walk over to him and I sit on his lap
"Don't you think we are a bit too old for this?" I ask as I peck his lips
"Maybe but considering I still want to bend you over this table I highly doubt" he smirks and I chuckle
"I love you," he says planting a kiss on my collar bone
"I love you too," I sigh hugging him as I look down at the ring he proposed to me with. The emotions come flying back and I grin
