Introduction

Ten years ago Jordan was diagnosed with Epilepsy. On January 25, 2012, Jordan life changed forever after finding this out a week later she got her tonsils out. For 2012 her year was not so great. From then Jordan learned how to control her Epilepsy while playing sports such as volleyball, basketball, lacrosse and ice hockey.

Chapter One

On a cold and snowy day on November 9, 2022 Jordan was outside with friends when all of a sudden she collapsed and is unconscious. She is really badly shaking and jerking. Her friends didn't know what to do then beside keep her safe until paramedics come. One of Jordan's closest friends, Allison knew what to do because Jordan had taught her all of the proper steps. By now paramedics came and took the sobbing Allison away from Jordan's side. Riley is making sure they know Jordan's medical history and made sure they knew she had epilepsy. Jordan's dad used to be on Lake Wood Fire Department. The paramedics knew Jordan and Jordan knew most of them. Will, one of the closest paramedic/firemen Jordan had known showed up on the call. The other one Jordan didn't know. When Jordan was conscious again, Will said, "Jordan this is one of our new paramedics his name is Jacoby. Jacoby you should get to know her because she is going to become a paramedic. Also work for us in less than a year." Jordan then said, "Will stop it. First I have to graduate the academy then get accepted by the fire house." Jacoby then asked, " How does Jordan know you so well, Will?" Jordan answered," When my dad was in the academy Will's brother Brad, and my dad graduated together. They ended up both going to Lake Wood. Then Will graduated, then my dad and Will become close and we have remained close family friends since." After Will and Jacoby loaded Jordan in the truck they went to the hospital. Will went to drive and let Jacoby take care of Jordan which was usual because normally Will likes to help the people he knows. Jacoby then asked, "Jordan are you single?" He did it where Will didn't hear him because he knew that Will would kill him. Jordan then answered, "Yes I am it is only because I am training for the Olympics." Jacoby said, "So you aren't looking for a relationship now and for what sport." Jordan answered, "Hockey and I am looking for a relationship. I am just looking for the right guy." Jacoby said, "Give me your number so that we can go a date and don't tell Will cause he will kill me." Jordan answered, "Ok" by then she was at the hospital.

Chapter 2

Since Jordan's friends weren't allowed back to her room. They didn't go to the hospital. Will got one of the guys to go with Jacoby and show him the ropes, while Will stayed with Jordan. He felt bad if he didn't stay with Jordan. Will learned what her normal routine was like and learned what triggers the Epilepsy. He was very interested in this disorder. Will had asked Jordan a lot of question about this disorder and Jordan was OK with answering them. At one point of the male nurses was hitting on Jordan and Will was going to step in it until Jordan punched him in the face. Then Will started laughing and the other nurse came in and asked what happen and she told her. The nurse then helped up the male nurse and took him out of the room and only had female nurses the rest of the time. She had to finish the ivy bag and then she could go and she had an hour left. Will then asked, "Was Jacoby hitting on you in the truck." Jordan had really never lied to Will and plan to never lie to him. She decided to tell him the truth. Jordan answered, "Will don't get mad but Yes he did and it gets worse he asked me out and I said Yes." I could see Will getting angry and then he said, "Jordan I don't want you to get hurt like when you dated that other guy Wesley. But more importantly Jacoby will never lay a hand on you and so if he does then tell me and his ass will be grass." Jordan replied, "My dad tells you way to dam much doesn't he." Will said, "Yes he does. Now let's get you home OK." Jordan said alright. They had left and Will had got her home. Then went and got her prescription filled. Since the doctors were worried so they wanted her to stay at home for twenty four hours of no running, working out, skating, driving and even walking for long periods of time. Will then got Jordan to her apartment and told her he would come by and check on her later. After she got comfortable, Will left and went back on shift. Jordan couldn't train and she didn't know what to do. So she went into her backpack and started studying for her next test at the academy and finished her homework.
