Chapter 33: Daddy

Camila's POV

Oh God I know that voice perfectly well

"Papi" I say pulling away from Lauren and looking at my father.

"Both of you on the deck NOW! and Camila put on some clothes right now young Lady" He says in a serious tone.

"Yes Papi" I say looking at the ground

"Lauren outside while Camila changes" he says and Lauren looks at me before leaving me alone in the room.

Crap my dad is going to go ape shit on me and Lauren. Shit why didn't I lock the damn door. Just when we were going to finish what we couldn't at the hotel this morning. I better get changed quick and get outside before my dad kills Lauren or worst feeds her to the sharks.

Lauren's POV

As I walked out of the room I got really scared. Camila's dad sometimes really scared the crap out of me and this was one of those times.

Not only did he find his little girl kissing someone in a room on a bed all alone. No he found her in a complete heated moment with a girl, and that girl being me. "Lord please save me. I don't want to die. I'm too young and Camila needs me please I promise no more, smoking, drinking, or cutting, just don't let Papa Cabello kill me" I think to myself.

"Lauren me diras que fue lo que vi en esa habitacion?" he asks me in Spanish meaning he is not very happy

"eh-um" Crap I'm too scared to answer him

"Lauren what did I walk in on in that room?" he asks me again and I take in a very deep breath

"Ca-Camila a-and m-me ki-kissing" I reply in a shaky voice

"How long has this been going on?" he asks and I close my eyes

"A while" I answer

"A while like days?" he questions

"More like 3 weeks" I reply not even opening my eyes

"So you and Camila have been what? dating for 3 weeks" he asks and I open my eyes

"Eh- not exactly. We kind of made it official last night" I say a bit embarrassed

"and Chris" he says mentioning my brother

"She broke up with him" I say worried

"SO she broke up with him because of you" He asks

"Um that and other things but I think you should ask Camila about that" I reply uncomfortable with telling him about Keaton's party.

"SO no more Chris constantly calling my house at 2 in the morning?" He asks a bit curious

"Not unless he has a death wish" I say trying to make a joke

"Thank God finally" he says with a smile

Wait What?

"Um Mr. Cabello aren't you mad?" I ask confused by his new happiness

"Mad, Lauren you just gave me the best news ever. I'm sorry but Chris was never on my good side. SO Mila breaking up with him is wonderful news" He says all happy

"So does that mean you don't have a problem with me dating Camila?" I ask hopefully

"I never said I had a problem Lauren but next time I find you in that position with My daughter and in a room alone you will not be smiling" he warns and I swallow dry. There goes scary Papa C again.

"Now go to the deck" he orders and I nod turning around and heading to the stairs.

As I start walking away I hear the room door open then close meaning Camila had changed. This trip has gone from amazing to nerve racking in a second.

Camila's POV

When I walked out of the room fully clothed, with a t-shirt, shorts, and Flip flops; I saw my dad waiting for me and Lauren heading up the stairs with her head facing the ground. Oh no my dad exploded on her. What is he going to do with me?

"Karla ven para aca" he orders and I swallow dry. He's mad oh he is really mad. He only calls me by my first name when it is something bad.

"When were you planning on telling me that you broke up with Christopher and that you are now dating Lauren?" he asks in a serious tone

"Papi I-I can explain you see" and before I even start he stops me

"Mija Finally you make a smart choice" he says and I look at him confused

"Camila ever since you started dating Chris I knew something was wrong. I mean he was always around the house at every moment and I noticed that Lauren avoided going to the house every time he was there. then when you and Lauren got into that fight that night outside the house I had a feeling that it might be more than her just being mad over you going out with Chris. When she stopped coming by the house completely and stopped calling or talking to you I saw that you lost a special spark in you. It was like someone stole your most prized possession. When I finally saw Lauren around the house again 3 weeks ago I saw that spark return and it helped me figure out my thoughts. Camila Estas enamorada de Lauren? are you in love with her?" he asks me and I look at him stunned

Standing in front of me was my Dad, the man who played with me before Sofi was born. The person who I love very much and would make silly faces with me. Who brought me toys as a little kid and who right now was asking me the same question I had finally answered yesterday to Lauren.

"Si, Yes. I'm in love with her" I answer without hesitating

"Does she love you back?" He asks me and I look at him smiling

"More than you can imagine Papi" I reply and I see him smile at me

"So last night when your mom and I got back were you two-"

"coming back from a date? Yes daddy we were, and Sofi joined us since she helped Lauren plan the entire thing" I answer before he finishes asking

"I can't believe my little princess is growing up so fast" He says pulling me into a tight hug and I hug him back

"I'm not growing up that fast Papi and plus you still have Sofi" I remind him smiling

"That is true pero be careful okay. I might love Lauren but I'm still going to be protective over you" he warns and I laugh

"Papi trust me Lauren won't do anything wrong. Plus I think you scared her enough when you kind of caught us. SO don't kill my girlfriend of a heart attack please" I say looking up at him

"Fine but you are now telling your mom that you are both dating. And you have to tell her before we get back to Miami" He says smiling and I freeze

Crap telling my dad is one thing but telling my mom is like a death wish. She won't be as understanding as my dad is being, on top of that I have to tell her before we get back home. Oh God can this get any worst.
