He Can't be Back...

"yeah sure, umm Eddie can you come here real quick"

"coming sweetheart" he said as he put down a bowl of cereal he was in the middle of eating

"hi officers, what can I do for you"

"Eddie this is chief Powell and officer Callahan and guys this is my boyfriend Eddie also known as Edward Munson" I said as Eddie gave me an uncomfortable face when I said his full name instead of Eddie

"Wow, you moved on quickly, you've got something for guys with long hair don't you Hops?" said Callahan trying to make a joke. I could tell Eddie didn't like Callahan already after that joke since had a serious look on his face and stared at him

"I'm going to ignore what you just said so are you two going to come in or do we have to go down to the station?"

"Here would be good if that ok with you Mr. Munson, we'd also like to talk with them in private this topic might be a little triggering"

"yeah you boys ask them whatever you need, I was on my way to stock up on food anyways. I'll see you later Eddie, y/n officers if you'll excuse me" he said as he grabbed his keys and walked out the door

The officers walked in and me and Eddie took a seat on the couch while the officers sat on the coffee table in front of us. But what triggering topic? What the hell happened was this about my dad. Did they find out Eddie's a drug dealer? Shit did they find out about my powers and me and my sister escaping the lab?

"Y/n so, I've been informed that you and Chrissy Cunningham are good friends really close and everything yes?"

"yeah, why are we talking about Chrissy, did something happen?" I said as Powell and Callahan looked at each other

"Did Chrissy mention any drug use?"

"Powell... please tell me she didn't overdose. please tell me she's alive and ok and perfectly fine" I said as I felt my heart drop and my knee started bouncing

"y/n she didn't overdose, we're just asking because we found some opioids on her nightstand and in her hand but not in her system"

"what do you mean in her hand but not in her system, Powell I'm going to ask you this one more god damn fucking time! what. happened. to. Chrissy?"

"show her Callahan" he said as Callahan pulled out a yellow envelope

"now Hops, y/n what your about to see may be very very disturbing." said Callahan as he handed me the envelope

"what the fuck is this?" I said more confused and worried than ever

"just look through it and you'll see kiddo"

I looked at Eddie and I took a deep breath. opened the envelope and pulled out some pictures. I flipped them around and I immediately felt my heart shatter. I felt sick to my stomach and wanted to puke my guts out.

Chrissy. bones snapped. eyes pulled back. jaw shattered. fingers snapped.

"stay here el"

"No! I'm coming"

"No the fuck your not stay here eleven I'm serious!" I said as I left her in the janitor's closet. There was a lot of screaming in the halls so I went to go check it out.

Several bodies were on the floor snapped and shattered. I followed the screams into the rainbow room and saw more and more bodies. it was all the kids Brenner had taken in to explore their powers all my brothers and sister were snapped in half
