I Could Of Sworn He Was Dead

"What happens if I don't, it's not like you can do anything about it" I said with a smile

"You really want to play that game right now, you remember what happened last time" he whispered in a deep voice as he got closer to my face

"Mmm no I don't think I remember"

"Keep teasing me and see what happens"

"In that case I think I will, pretty boy" I said as he smashed his lips into mine.

We started making out and he picked me up as I wrapped my legs around his waist. He threw me on my bed and took his shirt off as he climbed on top of me and moved from lips to my neck

All of a sudden there was a knock on the door

"I'm busy!" I yelled as Eddie kept kissing down my neck

"y/n Steve's here to see you" said Nancy on the other side of the door

"Fuck" I whispered under my breath as Eddie stopped kissing me and crashed down beside me as he turned his head towards me

"Why don't you just go see what he wants, its fine"

"Fine, just hide Nancy can't know your here"

"What why? Does she not like me or something?" he whispered

"No no cause if she knows your here she's going to ask 50,000 questions, just hide come on, go hide in the closet"

"y/n-"

"Please? Eddie." I said begging him to get in the closet

"Fine" he said as he rolled his eyes got up and hid in the closet

"JUST A MINUTE NANCE" I yelled as he got in and I grabbed a shirt from a hanger before I closed the closet door

I put on the shirt along with a pair of  sweat pants that were sitting on my bed as I hurried towards the door

"What took you so long?" she said with a questioning look on her face

"Nothing just trying to keep my shit together"

"He has to forgive you eventually y/n, now you've got bachelor number too waiting downstairs"

"Wait what" I said with a confused look on my face

"y/n go" she said pointing towards the stairs

"Right" I said as I ran down the stairs

"Steve?"

"y/n, hi! Listen, I know it's late but can we talk, in private because I know Nancy's listening from upstairs. Yeah I see you hi Nancy" he said looking up at the stair railing noticing Nancy looking over it

"Yeah come on" I said leading him to the basement

We walked down the stairs and sat on the couch. He took a deep breath, it looked like he was trying to figure out a way to say something

"Steve? You ok?"

"Yeah, yeah I just feel like I messed up our friendship by telling you about how I feel and everything. I really don't want to ruin that."

"No Steve, you didn't your still my best friend, and that will never change I just don't love you in the way you love me." I said as he just played around with his hands

"Did you ever like me at some point, even if it was just a little?" he said finally looking at me

"Yeah I did, but you were dating Nancy at that time and you were a pretty big douche at that time too so it faded away pretty quickly. Then when I started going to school, I noticed you were still pretty hung up on Nancy. Then Billy showed up and I started having a crush on him."
