I've always been super close with my best friend Mei, we met a few years ago when we were both the same age. I enjoyed their company, and we were super alike in so many ways. I always got so jealous whenever Red Son or MK was around, the two of them always stole alone time away from Mei and I. I guess... In a way I really liked Mei... Loved her even. I'd always check in on her before I went to bed, checking on her practically every second of the day. Every time we talked we bonded more and more even over the dumbest things like talking about types of lollipops, or even ranking the best juices...
Okay, I'm obsessed with them. I love their hair, I love their giggles, I love their warm hugs, I love our special little moments together, I love our little adventures. I love them. Aghh.. Oh dear. Obsession always gets to me... I sat on my bed, about ready to go to bed when I hear a knock at my window. I jump a bit but walk over to the window rubbing my eyes. It was Mei. Wait. MEI?!
"M-MEI?!" I said, startled from the random appearance. I opened the window and helped her in. "S-sorry I look like.. This- I d-didn't get a chance to get r-" I was cut off. "Don't worry about it, bestie-" Mei said, hugging me. I blushed, itching the back of my head. "M-mei hey.." I said. Mei tilted her head. "We've been friends for a few years now a-and I wanted to tell you that uhm.." I said, very hesitant to say anything at all. "Mei.. I love you, ever since we met, I loved you." I said, a flustered mess. Mei stared at me, shocked and also flustered. "I-I uh.. Y/n.. I.." Mei said, stuttering. My heart dropped a bit in fear. "I love you too, y/n..." Mei said, hugging me and kissing my cheek in the process.
All my dreams were coming true- Oh jeez, this is moving fast. I hugged Mei tightly while nuzzling my face in her neck. Mei pushed me on the bed cuddling me tightly. "You know, this is waaay better than cuddling that little dragon plush I have at home-" Mei said giggling. I smiled, cuddling Mei tightly and nuzzling my face into her chest.
"Hey Mei..?"
"Yeah Y/n?"
"I love ya..."
"I love ya too, y/n!"
