With the Help of my Best Friend

The Reason

we drove to the restaurant engaging in a few conversations and after a few conversations we were finally here at the same restaurant that we had our first date; I know I shouldn't hope for a proposal but I cant help it, since the drive his been acting weird and I think that he was nervous about tonight

when we got inside the restaurant it was still the same since we came here last time; the waiter walked us both to our table and we both sat down immediately ordering our food. Seo-Yun wanted to have spaghetti and I decided to have steak

we waited for the food to arrive and he looks down at his hands "what's wrong? is everything ok?" I asked worried "did something at work?" I asked

he shakes his head "no, its not that..." he says slowly

"then what?" I asked one more time

"I wanted to say something to you" Seo-Yun says seriously

okay.... "sure, what is it?" I asked becoming nervous

"after we eat" he says and I just nodded

the waiter arrived at the perfect timing after we talked, he gave us our food and immediately ate in an awkward silence and I really hate awkward silence so I decided to speak up "ok seriously what's wrong? you are freaking me out so just say it" I said

he mutters something that I didn't get so leave it at that "Seo-Yun..." I said grabbing his hand gently "whatever it is I'm sure I can take it" I said

he looked at me with a small smile "okay then" he says pausing for a few moments "I want to break up" he said

I look at him then I just burst out laughing but then stopped seeing him seriously "wait what?" I asked letting go of his hand

he just nods "no no no that's not good enough- I need a reason" I said

he sighs like he was bored of this conversation "we've been together or 3 years and I- yes I was happy... at first but nowadays I'm kind of bored; Min-Ji no offense but you'd rather hang out at your place than at a club and that's boring for me, the reason is I don't love you anymore-I know that sounds bad but its the truth; my family doesn't like you anyway-"

"what?!" I asked and he just shushed me

"to be completely honest with you I just dated you so I can get a decent job as a doctor and you helped with that so thank you, I do enjoy being your boyfriend but like I said its getting boring dating you; in future reference be more adventurous and dress like that- I like girls who can keep me interested in their bodies not like you... you dress at home like your a mom and I don't like that; Min-Ji... I'm sorry I did this to you" he says but then he decided to speak again "oh and I don't really like your friend" he says

"which one?" I asked

"all of them" he says "anyway you are lucky that you had to date someone like me" he says

I scoffed standing up causing the other people to look at our table "someone like you?" I asked and he nodded "you mean a double-face, lying, scumbag like you? oh and by the way don't talk about my friends like and don't act like this isn't a big deal! you want me to be more adventurous well here I go" I said clapping my hands together making the other people from farther tables to look at ours "ladies and gentlemen this man right here!" I said pointing at Seo-Yun "had decided to break-up with me because he was getting bored of me and the relationship, well guess what Kim Seo-Yun you are the biggest liar and jerk I have ever met!" I said making the people released a bunch of 'ooooos' "and one other thing when we have sex he doesn't even get that far because you are always first" I said grabbing my purse

as I walked away from the table the people applaud me making me feel good about myself; I hear him call my name a bunch of times but I ignored him

I hailed a taxi and immediately said my address to the driver; as we drove I quickly let out a sob and cried on the way back to my home, as I do I let out my phone and decided to call Jungkook

the phone line rings and I waited after the third ring he picked up "heeey! its still early... did the date went bad?" I hear him letting out a laugh

"can you come to my condo?" I sniffled

"hey what's wrong?" he asked switching his teasing voice to a worried one

"just come please...." I said with a pleading voice

"okay, I'll be there in a few minutes" I sighed hearing him say that

we both hang up and I put my phone back to my purse "we're here miss" the driver says and I nodded muttering a 'thank you'

I got out after I paid and immediately went inside my condo, I close the door still crying softly; after I got a little composure I decided to get out of this clothes and go change to something more comfortable

I got out of the dress and got into some biker shorts with a large hoodie, removed my make-up and put my hair up into a ponytail and as I do this the door busts opens now I regret giving him a key

I got out of my room and headed to Jungkook "hey" I said seeing him breathing heavily "did you run here?" I asked chuckling at him

Jungkook was wearing black sweatpants and a black t-shirt, his hair a little messy "what did he do?" he asks avoiding my question

I walk towards him and he immediately hugged me "talk to me little bird" he says

"I thought we pass that nickname" I said holding my tears

I hear him laugh softly "no we haven't" Jungkook paused "now tell me what happened" he says
