Pep Talk

"he said that to you?" he asks fuming in rage

I have been telling Jungkook my dinner with Seo-Yun a few minutes ago and when I go and explain the details Jungkook always interrupts me "would you stop that? I haven't even finished the sentence yet" I said

he mutters an apology motioning me to continue "anyway... after he told me why he wanted to break up he told me that he doesn't like all my friends; I guess he was just pretending to like you... and the others" I sighed pausing but then continued again "he said he just got bored with me- do you think I'm boring Jungkook?" I asked him

Jungkook shakes his head immediately "of course not, I like spending time with you and you already know that Min-Ji" he says putting an arm around me and pulling me closer "don't listen to him- he doesn't know what his talking about" he says "and excuse him I'm a great friend!" he said making me chuckle

"yeah I know you are Jungkook" I say

he lets me go out of his hold "and you're adventurous! remember that time when we pranked Jimin-hyung at the beach; it was your idea remember?" he says and I nodded "I couldn't done it without you" he says ruffling up my hair

I swat him away "ya! you said not to bring that up! I was drunk that time so in my defense- I get really creative when I'm drinking" I shrug

Jungkook scoffs "yeah right, the only fun thing about you when your sober is me being your friend" he said being proud of himself

I hit him at the back of his head making him groan "don't get cocky!" I said

"I'm just teasing you" he says making me the one who scoff

"are you though? or just stating a fact about me" I said

"ok Min-Ji, I'm going to say this once ok?" he says and I nodded "you are the best person I could spend time with everyday of my life; if Seo-Yun cant see that then his an idiot because if you are my girlfriend I would be lucky to have a great girl like you" Jungkook says

I turn to look at him with a red face "did you just say if I was your girlfriend you'd be lucky?" I ask

Jungkook turns away from my gaze feeling shy "it was the heat of the moment- don't take it seriously little bird" he says

I laugh softly "thank you for saying that to me" I said "and please don't call me that anymore; we're not kids anymore you know?" I said

he returns his gaze back to me "why not? you love that nickname" he says and I sighed "besides, I like calling you that because no one else calls you that" Jungkook says

I smiled softly at him "I like It too, just don't say that in front of people ok?" I said and he nods beaming me his bunny grin "so, can we play some video games now? I want to practice so that I can beat you one day" I said getting up from the couch and getting the gaming consoles

Jungkook scoffs "yeah like you can beat me, even if you can do that by the time we're 40 then I'll be impressed" he says grabbing the black gaming console out of my hands

"trust me I will try on beating you" I said walking back to my seat earlier

I hear him chuckle "lets do this Yang Min-Ji" he says

"you're on Jeon Jungkook" I said already keeping my mind clear of my break up earlier

I groan hearing my phone ring "get that please" I hear someone mutter

I let out another groan and grabbed my phone from the night stand "hello?" I asked not bothering to see who it is

"Min-Ji finally-"

I scoffed hearing Seo-Yun's voice on the other line "are you serious?" I asked sitting up from my bed looking to my side seeing Jungkook still sleeping man he is a deep sleeper "what do you want?" I asked "you broke up with me remember?" I said

"I know I'm just calling if you wanted to talk again?" he asks

"we already talked Seo-Yun" I said

"Min-Ji would you keep your voice down?" Jungkook mutters

"who is that? did you sleep someone already?" Seo-Yun asks scoffing "wah! Yang Min-Ji had a one night stand? now that's really something" he says

I was about tell him it was Jungkook but deciding to roll with it "so what? I cant sleep with someone after our break up?" I asked

"so you did sleep with someone?" Seo-Yun says "are you kidding me? ya! Min-Ji you slut way to go! I'm so proud of you but if you wanted to sleep with someone can you at least call me first? we just broke up so we could've had at least one more night together" he says

this is the first time someone called me a slut and it hurts "you're a jerk!" I said before putting the phone down after hanging up on him

Jungkook shifts seeing me up in the early morning "Min-Ji?" he asked eyeing the clock and seeing it was 3 am "what's wrong?" he asks "who called you at the time like this?" he asks

Jungkook sits up while getting closer to me; I look at him ready to cry "did that jerk called you?" Jungkook asks and I nodded slowly "why did you answer?"

"I didn't know it was him! I was sleepy" I said not containing my tears anymore "h-he called me a slut" I said letting out a sob

"he did?" he asks outrage "tell me what happened Min-Ji" he says and I explained everything "he shouldn't have said that!" he says "don't cry Min-Ji, you don't deserve to cry for him" he says pulling me into his arms

"it was the first time a person called me that.... and it was so horrible I-I felt like what he said" I said still crying

he lets me go and cups my head making me look at him "I said don't listen to him Min-Ji; we didn't know he was a two-face-jerk like we know now" Jungkook says "you are not what he said, you are Yang Min-Ji... the kindest, hardworking, beautiful, and most importantly confident person I've ever met- don't you listen to a low-life like him ok? he likes seeing you hurt but you know who doesn't like that? Me! your best friend Jeon Jungkook! so please stop crying and smile! like you always do" he says

I sniffled and smiled softly "not like that! like this!" he says pulling my cheeks upwards to make it look like I grinned widely

I swat his hands away from my face and laughed "yes like that! there she is my friend Yang Min-Ji" Jungkook says

"thank you" I said and he nods smiling at me

"lets go back to sleep" he says laying back down

I sighed following his action, Jungkook pulls me closer so we can cuddle and I liked it when we do this because I felt safe and secure with him
