With the Help of my Best Friend

as soon as I and Na-Ra finished our lunch she and I separated our ways, apparently she has some shopping to do for her party next week and I have to pack because- and I'm totally honest with myself I forgot that her birthday is this weekend. What I said about me packing efficiently was true though, I do list down the things I need to bring- I'm just like that

as soon as I arrived my condo I see Jungkook standing in front of the door waiting "what are you doing here?" I asked walking up to him

"Min-Ji, finally! where the hell was you?" he asks

I rolled my eyes at him and he opened the door as soon as the door flies open he walks in before I could "it's not your condo you know" I said closing the door behind me following him in "and you didn't answer my question, what are you doing here?" I asked

Jungkook sat down on the couch sighing "I wanna ask you something" he says and I nodded sitting down next to him

"what is it?" I asked

"well... can I stay here for a couple of days?" he says in a low voice

"of course- wait what?" I said, "what did you say again?" I asked

"something happened at the dorm and well let's say nobody is going to be living there for a couple of days because of that reason," Jungkook says "so can I stay with you?" he asks again

" um.. yeah sure, you've slept here before and some of your clothes are already so sure why not," I said and immediately he pulls me close and hugs me tightly

" oh thank you Min-Ji!" he says enthusiastically

Jungkook pulls away and I see him giving me his signature bunny smile and upon seeing that I immediately smiled at him too "are you already packed at the guest-"

"yep!" he says nodding "and by the way, why is your shower-"

"yeah I keep forgetting to fix that, but I promise I will," I said "for now, I have to pack for Na-Ra's birthday," I said getting up from the sofa and going to my room

"you still haven't packed yet?" he asks as he follows me in my room

"why did you already?" I asked and he nodded

"Na-Ra texted me a few day ago and reminded me" Jungkook says laying down on my bed getting comfortable

"since when did you exchange numbers?" I asked opening one of my drawers and pulling out 2 pairs of jeans (just in case), 2 shorts, and 1 pajama shorts

"I always had her number actually, I just didn't tell you" he says sitting up watching me pack my clothes into a small suitcase

"Na-Ra didn't tell me either, do you guys talk often?" I asked

"yeah... we talk about you know... stuff" Jungkook shrugs

I scoffed at him "what kind of stuff?" I asked stuffing the last thing into my suitcase, I calculated what I brought and evaluated those things this Is why you write things down

I was walking all around the room when he says something that caught me off guard "she told me about you and... the bet you had with her" Jungkook says

and upon on hearing that I froze in my spot slowly turning to him and he looks at me with a sly smirk on his face "w-what?" I stuttered that bitch!

"don't act like you don't know Min-Ji" he says leaning his back by placing both hands on top of the sheets

"ok..." I said softly coming next to him "why did she even tell you?" I asked

"well she explained how she and the other members have been.... conspiring against the two of us," he says but I just look at him confused "yeah... the members made a bet with me too," he says

"those little..." I drag my words, I sighed "so... um you haven't caught-"

"feelings? no," he says

ok that kinda hurts "you?" he asked and I shook my head no not saying anything "so nothings gonna happen between us?" he asked

did he just friendzone me? "um... yeah for sure if you say that you don't have feelings for me and I don't have feelings for you then yeah we are good- more than good! we're great! just great!" I said smiling widely

"are you being sarcastic?" Jungkook asks

"no, I'm not being sarcastic- I'm just enthusiastic- we said to each other when we made our friendship that we are not going to date each other and if we do have feelings for each other then.... we should talk about it and not hide it right?" I ask and he nodded

"yeah you're right," he says

I nod at him "then great!" I paused "now get out I have to do more packing," I said pointing at the door

"you already packed 1 suitcase! that's not enough for you?" Jungkook asks getting up and walking to my bedroom door

"I'm a girl Jungkook, I always have to prepare for the worst" I said

he chuckles at me before going out of the door and as soon as he does I sighed thinking of ways what I'm going to do to Na-Ra when I see her- I l know it's her birthday but it's going to feel good
