"Michael, I'm tired." I yawned and looked at Michael. He turned to look at me and smiled.

"Go on a date with me." He blurted out. I smiled back and nodded. I began to stand up, wiping the sand off of my tie-dye shirt.

"Alright." I said and gave him my number. "Bye Michael." I said, and began to walk off.

Once I got home, I saw my father passed out on the couch again. I walked passed him and went straight to my room upstairs. It was now 3:54 am. I don't feel tired at all, now. I just want to go back to the beach. Back to Michael.

I plugged in my phone as I got ready to take a shower, until my phone went off. I groaned and hopped on my bed, unplugging my phone and reading the message.

m: is this jax

j: yeah, is this Michael

m: hEY JAX I THOUGHT YOU'D BE SLEEPING

j: I waS GONNA SHOWER I SMELL LIKE FISH

m: sO DO I

j: THATS GREAT

j: WHY ARE WE TEXTING IN ALL CAPS

m: I DONT KNOW

m: so, before you shower, I wanted to tell you to dress casually for tomorrows date. (:

j: alright, where are you taking me?

m: its a surprise babe!!

j: im gonna go now. goodnight mike.

m: goodnight beautiful.

It's now noon. Michael texted me this morning telling me to meet him at our usual spot.

I pull my shorts up and continued walking to the beach. As I stepped on the sand, my black converse were instantly covered in the substance.

"Jax!" Michael yelled as he saw me approach him. I smiled as he engulfed me in a tight hug.

"Where are we going?" I asked as we began to walk. I stopped dead in my tracks as I realized where we are.

AMUSEMENT PARK.

"MICHAEL!" I squealed excitedly. I would always go when I was little, until my mom left. I love roller coasters with a passion.

Michael chuckled. "You're adorable." I grabbed his hand and intertwined them. I felt Michael tense under my touch but I ignored it.

"I already bought the tickets, and bought fast passes." Michael said casually. I gasped.

"No Michael, I'll pay you back. Do you know how expensive this is? I can't." I said, feeling my excitement drop and guilt going up. Michael scoffed.

"Jax, usually the guys pay on dates. Trust me, this is totally worth it." Michael said. I groaned and continued walking towards the entrance.

Once we were there, Michael handed the lady our tickets. She let us through, not before saying, "You two are an adorable couple."

I shyly grinned. "We're not d-"

"Thank you, ma'am." Michael said as he cut me off and smirked down at me. I rolled my eyes and walked towards the first ride I laid eyes on. It was a huge roller coaster that had a bunch of drops. We sat down and instantly Michael gripped my hand.

The ride started. The cart started going up. My heart was pounding in my chest while Michael tried to focus on our hands.

Once the ride was about to drop, Michael and I had the perfect view of our spot.

The ride dropped, the pressure was so hard our hands let go.

"AND THEY COME UNSTUCK." Michael and I yelled in unison as we screamed for dear life.
