I woke up that morning to the smell of bacon being cooked and immediately sat up. I yawned and stretched, my back cracking loudly. I groaned at the disgusting noise and sat up. I grabbed my phone from the night stand and checked the time. 10:50. It's too early for this. I stood up and rubbed my eyes. I looked down at Michael's oversized shirt and sweats. I slid the sweats off of my body and began to walk downstairs. The shirt looked like a dress on me, but I really didn't care. I took my hair tye and put my brownish-blondish hair in a messy bun.
,Michael was humming in the kitchen while putting the bacon on two separate plates. I smiled at the boy and walked towards him, trying to be as quiet as can be. I tried to hold back my laugh as he began dancing to whatever he's listening to. I was now right behind him, and I guess he didn't even notice I was there.
"Boo!" I yelled in his ear. He shrieked and jumped, dropping his spatula. I fell to the floor, clutching my stomach as I died of laughter. He held his chest, his heart pounding. His eyes were wide as he looked at me on the floor.
"Y-y-yo-" I cut myself off while continuing to laugh. My sides began to hurt. I stood up, still giggling. I held on to the counter for support. Michael stared at me with a startled expression. I wiped my tears and sighed loudly.
"Never do that again, Jax. I could've killed you!" Michael exclaimed. I again, broke out into a fit of giggles.
"With a spatula? Right." I said. Michael smiled and shook his head at me. He's glad that I'm feeling better after what happened. I want to forget about last night.
Michael handed me my plate and I thanked him. He led me to the table and I sat down.
"We should go out tonight, like another date you know." Michael said casually. I almost chocked on my bacon. He does not know what he's doing to me.
"O-okay." I say once I swallowed my bacon. He nodded and smiled.
"I brought some clothes here last night after you fell asleep. It's in my closet. I figured you didn't want to go back after, you know.." Michael trailed off. I nodded and smiled gratefully.
"Thanks Michael. Where are we going?" I asked. He smirked.
"It's a surprise, love." He replied and I groaned, sliding down my chair.

We walked towards the beach, shoulders rubbing together ever so often. We made small talk and joked around a bit, before we made it. He set up a picnic and had a small football. I picked it up and threw it at him, laughing as he ran to get it.
"You have a good arm." He said, impressed. I shook my head.
"I've never played or thrown a football before." I confessed. He gasped over dramatically.
"How are you better than me?" He asked and threw the ball towards me, which flew right behind me. I laughed and ran to go get it. The ball landed near a group of boys. I bent down to get it and slipped on the sand, falling. I laughed at myself. One of the boys noticed and ran towards me. He pulled my up by my left hand.
"Thank you." I told the boy, as I dusted myself off. He nodded and went back to his group of friends. I look towards Michael to see him running towards me. He quickly grabbed my left hand as he got to me. He took me back to the picnic, never letting go of my hand.
"Michael, why ar-"
"I wanna be your left hand man."
