School Mates

Chapter One

*Shawns POV*

I ran down the street panting as the sweat dropped from my forehead. I stopped at the end of my street and saw clara.. she looked at me as she watered the plants. I walked over to her and smiled.

"Mendes what's up?" She asked high fiving me.

"Not much bud" I replied.

"Ready for school tomorrow?" She asked hanging up the hose.

"Always" I replied sarcastically.

"We have a math test tomorrow btw" she said in an annoyed voice.

"You're probably gonna fail it huh?" I chuckled playfully hitting her shoulder.

"Shut up, I studied this time" she said.

"Uh huh for how long?" I asked.

"An hour butthead" she mumbled.

"I'll see you later" I chuckled.

She smiled and waved. I began jogging home.

"Hey mom" I said walking in.

"Hey hun, where's Aaliyah?" She asked.

"I don't know with her friend?" I said.

She nodded as i headed upstairs to take a shower.

I let the hot water run down my back as I sighed breathing in the moist air. When I got out I wrapped a towel around my waist and walked out. I saw Clara getting her stuff collected.

"Clara!" I yelled.

"What?" She asked calmly.

"I'm naked what the hell are you doing here?!" I asked stepping behind a door.

"I left my favorite sweater here the other day calm down" she said looking through my drawers.

She threw me a pair of underwear and I caught them with one hand.

"Get out" I said.

"Found it!" She said raising the sweater in the air.

I fake a smile and lead her out of the room. I sighed shaking my head. I got dressed real quick and walked back downstairs. I saw Clara and my mom talking.

"Thanks for the treat mom" Clara said taking a bite. she winked at me and left.

I chuckled shaking my head.

"She's my favorite" my mom chuckled.

"I know" I replied sitting on couch.

"Why can't you find a cute girl like Clara?" She asked.

"Theirs not that many out there like Clara" I replied.

"I remember you guys use to take baths together" my mom giggled.

"MOM!" I yelled.

"I'm sorry but you guys were just so precious together" she teased again. "oh and you always wanted to play wedding with her!"

"Oh my god please stop talking about it mom" I said covering my face.

She chuckled and kissed my head. I rested my head against the couch and chuckled.
