Chapter Three

I walked up to the amusement park with Clara.

"By the way, I brought a friend along that you might get friendly with" Clara spoke shaking her shoulders.

"Oh god, Clara you need to stop setting me up with people" I whined

"You'll like her I promise, her name is Liza" she said.

I sighed and shook my head.

"Why why why?!" I yelled.

She chuckled and wrapped her arm with mine.

"Sarah! Pat!" Clara yelled running over to them.

She hugged them both and smiled.

"Hey guys" I said shaking pat's hand.

"Shawn this is Liza" Clara said introducing me to a tall red head.

"Hey" she said.

She had a nasally voice which made me cringed. I shook her hand and smiled.

"You guys ready to go?" Clara asked.

I smiled and nodded.

"Let's ride that big one" Sarah said excitedly and hugged pat.

We all headed over to it and stood in line.

"Wait Clara who are you gonna sit with?" I asked.

"Oh, shoot, I didn't really think about it" she said resting her hip.

"I'll ride with you" I whispered.

"No, no, you should ride with Liza" she replied.

I sighed and nodded. dammit. we got on and latched ourselves in.

"Can I hold your hand?" Liza asked.

I sighed slightly and nodded. she smiled squeezing my hand tightly.

"Well that was a fun day" Clara spoke after a while.

"I have to go it was nice meeting you all" Liza said waving.

We said our goodbyes and she handed me a slip of paper. i stuffed it in my pocket and smiled.

"How was she?" Clara asked wrapping her arm around my shoulder. I patted her hand and smiled.

"She was alright" I replied.

She smirked and smiled.

"Wanna come over?" She asked.

"It's kind of late" I said walking backwards.

"Come on we can have a slumber party like old times" she gestured.

I sighed and smiled. She opened the door and waited for me to answer.

"Fine" I replied walking in.

I texted my mom and sat on the couch to watch a movie. Clara brought out snacks and stuff for us to do.

"I wanna go for a walk" she said wrapping a blanket around herself.

I walked outside with her and we took a little stroll. we laughed and talked a lot more then we should have. we turned back around to her house and got ready for bed. She fell asleep on the couch so I gave her a piggy back ride back to her bedroom. I slid her under the white sheets and sighed. She moaned and rubbed her head scrunching her nose.

"Clara?" I asked.

She jumped up panting scared out of her mind.

"Clara" I said running over to her.

She cried wiping tears away.

"I had the worst dream ever" she said.

"What was it?" I asked.

"You died in a car accident" she spoke.

I sat there in silence and sighed.

I hugged her tightly.

"I'm not going anywhere sis" I mumbled.

She nodded and rested her eyes on my shoulder.
