Chapter Seventeen

"I don't like you Evan!" I heard Clara yell.

I walked up to the door and peaked inside.

"I love Shawn and that's it!" She yelled again.

It honestly made me smile hearing her say that. made my heart warm.

"No stop! I know you love Shawn but he doesn't understand you like I do!" He replied

What was he talking about? I'm her bestfriend, I know everything. I even know the date of her period time cause I'm the one who runs downs to buy her stupid feminine products.

"What's up?" I asked walking in strongly.

Evan looked at me and scoffed. he stomped away slamming the door behind him. I glared as he drove away.

"What was that all about?" I asked.

"He was just being rude" she replied wrapping her arms around my neck.

I smirked and pecked her lips. I loved Clara but I could feel in her grip and kiss that something was up. I looked at her confused.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Nothing" she chuckled.

She tired sliding from my grip but I pulled her back.

"What's wrong?" I asked again.

She sighed and shook her head.

"Nothing" she said sternly.

She stomped away slamming the door behind her. I ran up to it banging on it.

"Clara let me in!" I yelled.

She would budged. So i rolled up my sleeves and knocked down the door with all the force in body. my whole arms and legs were throbbing in pain. and there I saw Clara slitting her wrists as blood oozed from her veins.

"Clara!" I yelled running over to her. "Why?"

"Hate, school pressure I can't take it" she replied sobbing.

I held her wrists with a towel and sighed.

"Baby please" I said.

She shook her head and fell to the floor. I hugged her tightly making my heart swell.

"Clara please" I whined.

She just sat there and sobbed. I couldn't get her to stop. the blood filled my nose making me woozy. I carried her to the bath tub getting her undressed. we were both naked by now as I slid her into the warm water. she cringed as the water touched her wounds. I washed her body with a loofa as she moaned and sobbed. She sat in between my legs as I set the loofa back on the side. she rested her head against my chest and sighed. I kissed the top of her head.

"I will always take of you for the rest of your life" I said.
