School Mates

Chapter Two

*SHAWNS pov*

I pulled on my flannel making me a little warmer. I noticed Clara jogging over to me and I waved.

"Mendes! What is up?" Clara said walking up to me.

I put on my shades and smiled.

"Headed to school, get in" I commanded.

She chuckled and slid inside my car. I cranked up the music while Clara played on her phone. she got a call so I turned it down.

"Mom? Mom! Hello?" She spoke into the phone.

"Hey Clara pass the weed" I said in a lower voice.

She hit my shoulder and scoffed.

"Yeah I'll call you later" she said hanging up.

I chuckled pulling into the school driveway. I took off my sunglasses as the bright sun beat down on my eyes.

"Math math math!" She chanted jumping on back walking into the classroom.

I laughed lifting her up on my back. I let her go as we both sat in our seats.

"Okay ladies and gentlemen who's ready for the test!?" The teacher said excitedly.

Everybody moaned and Clara and I exaggerated it loudly. Clara and I would copy each other when the teacher wasn't looking. we finished and snuck out of class when I told her that I was gonna use the restroom. we chuckled as we walked down the hall.

"You wanna go to lunch?" Clara asked.

"Yeah I'll catch up with you later" I replied grinning.

She waved and nodded as I watched her walked down the hall. damn.

I shook my head from staring at her body. She was a visionary girlfriend just like my mom said but we could never date, that'd be weird. besides she has no feelings whatsoever with me. I started walking behind her as I ran to catch up. the bell rang and we chuckled. we went to Taco Bell for lunch with was fun as always. even with my guy friends I don't have this much fun. I looked over to Clara as we sang out loud. she bobbed her head playing the air drums. I nudged her shoulder and smiled. The only thing I was worried about was my past, I can't let her find out. it would suck so bad and i would feel so uncomfortable around her if I did tell her. I'll just have to live in secret for a while until I have the guts to actually tell her, for now...
