Chapter 10: Break

Tekurai said: You're probably wondering what kind of reward it is right?

They all answered: money?

-Yes, but not just that.

A few minutes passed and the car arrived where it was going. A nearby city. The city was close to the border so its West was militarized. For the successful completion of their first mission, Tekurai wanted to buy them food again. This time it was gonna be ice cream. Eating ice cream in a hot place can be quite refreshing. In the city where they were, it was quite hot. It was in the South of the country. Tekurai's group were all enjoying their ice creams. Once they were done there, Tekurai told them the money should be transferred to their accounts. They were paid the equivalent of 40,000$ each. That was a lot of money, and the kids didn't know what to do with it. "They probably gonna waste it away, but who cares? They'll only get more of it as time goes by. "Those were the thoughts of Tekurai. After their heroic act at the village, it was now time for a break. Tekurai let all the kids know they'd be free to visit the city for a month, and gave them an address where they should come at the end of that month, which was in the militarized west part of the city. Soon after, the group scattered. Tekurai ordered a 5-star hotel room to sleep at. Akio went to spend his money on girls. The rest of them didn't really know what to do, but they had the time to figure it out. They would go on to explore the city.

The night arrived, but the city's activities did not stop. The lights were still bright, a perfect target for a bombing raid, but the country's air superiority would ensure that there are none. As the days would pass, the group would find more things to do. In these hot times especially, the group enjoyed the pool as a place to refresh, and thanks to years of intense training, they had physiques that impressed everyone but the literal bodybuilders there.

Days and weeks passed, eventually, Sora was back fully healed. At the end of the break, they all reunited with Tekurai in the West of the city. When they reunited, Tekurai asked how was their break. They all said it was good. Tekurai then told them: "Good that you enjoyed your break. Now it's time for the next mission. It'll be even harder and more intense than the first one, but I'm sure you can do it.

"What can such an important mission be" they all thought.

Tekurai said: You're gonna take an elevator.

"WHAT ???" They all said out loud at the same time.

Tekurai than said: I'm joking, but you may have to do it in this mission. This time, instead of a small town, we'll go to a city on the front.

Akio said: In that case, what would be so special about taking an elevator?

Tekurai said: Just wait until you see. It'll surprise you. Anyway, we've got a plane that's gonna go there (to be precise it's an airport close to the city) soon, so I hope you're ready. So they all went in the plane in the military airport west of the city, which goes on the fly to an airport near the city. There wasn't much to worry about thanks to the air superiority. Once arrived in that place, they'd have to take a car ride to the city itself. Before even arriving there, it was obvious that a big battle was taking place in it. There was smoke in the sky from the fires in the city, and gunshots explosions could be seen in the distance, as well as planes in the sky. Even in the east of the city, they could already see soldiers standing there, which was weird. After a little bit, they arrived in the city itself.
